• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Here's my Mono wheel trailer & hitch!

I think you overdid it when you re-sized your picture. It is too small for us to see it in anything but a blur. Try it again and shoot for about 300 KB or 50 % of the original size

PLEASE UPLOAD, ATTACH, AND INSERT ALL PICTURES/IMAGES AS THUMBNAILS!

I use a windows machine and click on "open with" and choose Microsoft Office Picture Manager. It allows you to set a percentage on the size of the original. You can also use the stock MS picture viewer and click on the three dots and a drop down gives you the option to resize the picture.

Washed my 2024 RTL, now the engine light is on, no start! Ideas?

FWIW I washed mine (same as yours) for the first time yesterday and got everything good and wet, no problem starting it after I dried it with a blower and chamois. Did you use a pressure washer or hand wash?

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Yesterday I finally broke 200 miles on my new RTL (it has been really wet and cold). For a guy coming off of 50 years of two wheel driving I am getting quite used to the realm of three wheels and look forward to many more miles in the saddle. Today I installed the FOBO Bike 2 for Trikes...

2022 RT S2S Accessory Connection Gremlin .. Help Please :)

Based on the wire size of the factory accessory connector I would not run more than 5 amps through it. I just looked at my manual (2024 RTL) that connector is fused for 5 amps only and it is listed as right side, top, #6 fuse GPS_Acc 5 Amps

New software Update for Spyders Nov 30 '24 - anyone updated their '24 RT? What does it do?

Majo1982, I have the connector, I think. I was installing the Afterburner Lights and had to access the left lighting connector (arrow) . On my bike (2024) there was a terminated three pin connector just above the lighting connector on the left side, there was not one on the right side. I...

    Happy New Year!

I hope all the Spyder Lovers had a Merry Christmas, and I just discovered that you can "ring" the ornaments in the holiday banner with your mouse. Then once you do that, each keystroke also "rings" a bell.

PLEASE UPLOAD, ATTACH, AND INSERT ALL PICTURES/IMAGES AS THUMBNAILS!

I do not get a second screen with an "insert" option it just loads the file and says it is too big. I remember the old site had a screen to "select files" and then to "upload" them but now it just opens the folder on my computer where I select the file and it loads from there. I am on a PC by...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Built a custom license plate frame that holds two Denali high intensity running/brake lights on either side of the tag. They required a flat surface to mount and there were none on the rear of the RTL. Made it out of 0.22 thick polycarbonate. Now I just need to find a nice frame for the plate...

    Need a Madstad "T" Nut

Look here: https://www.mcmaster.com/products/nuts/t-slot-nuts-2~/ - if you can measure the slot opening and know the thread of the knob you should be able to find a good replacement.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Added the Spyder Extras Dual horn kit. I typically mount Stebel horns to my bikes, but it looked like there was limited space where the stock horn is located. I tried them out BEFORE install and was happy with the difference from the stock single horn. I had some difficulty even getting them...

New ISCI hand brake on GS Spyder not working properly. Any ideas?

Sounds like there is still air hidden somewhere. Try pushing fluid UP from the lower cylinder to the handlebar reservoir (be sure to empty it first). This is what your kit should look like:

Planning a Pacific Coast Highway trip - looking for suggestions

We left Seattle and made it to Gold Beach OR the first night. Then to my home town of Novato (just 30 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge) the second night. That is where we stopped going south and went east on 88 then through NV on 50. IMO Salt Lake City would be better than Denver and the...

Will Can Am Spyder/Ryker prices rise?

The threat of tariffs is an excellent negotiating tool, in that they do not have to be implemented to be effective.

    What happened to the hippies?

I grew up 30 miles from Haight-Ashbury (birthplace of the Hippie movement) entered high school in 65 and there was one kid in the yearbook with long hair. By the time I graduated in 69 there were just a few of us with short hair. Left the area shortly thereafter with the US Navy and never...

How do you '24 RT riders pair BT headsets with Android Phones?

Thanks racoon, I missed that in the manual and will check it out today. And the rest of the story... Went back and read the info on page 49. Got the audio into the headsets. Made and received phone calls. All through the bike. I like it as all the info is on the screen including my...
