• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

4th annual *Wild Hawgs Style* cross country Road Trip all are welcome to join

In the Glacier area, be sure to do the Cody to Cooke City run on the Chief Joseph SB - a run by Flathead Lake and stay in Kalispell - if you're interested in coming farther West, I would recommend Kalispell - Sandpoint - Coeur D'Alene - South on 95 to Lewiston - South on W128/OR3 to Enterprise -...

    Prospective newbie

Even the base RTs have all the needed accessories - radios, cruise control, adjustable windshield, & heated grips. The Base does NOT have the front fenders with the hard to clean welt, the push button rear suspension (you have to manually adjust the rear suspension), or the $1000 BRP...

    My GPS is worthless

I'm NOT a fan of putting anything in my line of sight (dash top), but that's just me. I've had a Garmin 500, & 550 on various bikes, with the 550 on my 2010 RT - and found the bar mount to be satisfactory 95% of the time. On my 2014, I have a Montana, which is FAR better in bright sun, but not...

Are highway pegs worth the expense?

Personally, I'd talk to John about a set of Seals for your RS - the Pups might be perfect.

Are highway pegs worth the expense?

Good thought JB - If I could ride with my feet on the front suspension, I would be OK - - but I'd also need the $1400 ISCI hand brake to stop, as I'd never get my foot back to the brake in time on a panic stop.... Think venison here....

    Winter Slumber

It's been in the upper 60s and low 70s here for the last several days, and looks to be the same for the next week or so.. I've managed to get the Spyder out for at least a short run for the last several days.

Are highway pegs worth the expense?

For me NO - a flat waste of money. I've tried several different styles, and none worked for my long legs. If you're 5'8" - they'll probably work for you. I have Seal Floorboards, and have far more foot positions, all of which offer quick and easy access to the brake.

2013 Can-Am Spyder RT Safety Recall - Elevated Temperature in Engine Compartment

As I've said before, it takes a lot of time and effort to (1) find the root cause of a problem, (2) develop a fix that works, and (3) validate the fix. This is a serious issue, and like the 2014 ST, the fix will be adequate. Once the issue becomes formalized, MORE time is required to develop a...
