• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looking for Navigation options besides ACP - What do you recommend?

1970 could have been Loran C like boats and airplanes. I was a member of the construction team/first year crew that built the SE Asia chain in summer of 1966. There was actual a Loran bomb, however it was never as good as the GPS stuff.

Looking for Navigation options besides ACP - What do you recommend?

I have a Garmin Zumo XT, Android Auto/CAP display, and a Pixel 8 Pro smart phone. I like using Google maps on the desk top and sending them to the phone. The Android Auto screen allows the use of gloves where the phone does not. Also, in hot weather, the phone will over heat. However, the Garmin...

Anyone tried Slime in the Rear wheel? How did it work?

I do not bother to balance the General Altimax RT45's I put on the rear of my Spyders, that is three tires on three different Spyders. All run smooth.

Malfunction of the stock direction indicator lights blinking fast - any ideas/fixes?

That only works on early model I believe.

Rear tire mileage - How are you people getting 10,000 + miles on Kenda tires?

Or put just less than 6K on it in 8 years, like the 2018 I recently bought. I replaced those looking fine 8 year old tires with Vredesteins and a General.

My F3S tire is showing wear after only 2000 miles.

As posted, I have not had issues finding a tire stop in Apache Junction, AZ and Lake Stevens, WA that can handle the rear rim. They just need a machine that grabs the rim on the inside of the back side of the rim. The old 'through the center post' changers have gone away as far as I know. One...

Is this DESS battery drain normal?

At the 35ma rate in a week you have used about 6AH of the batteries 22AH capacity. Or about 1/4-1/3 of the batteries capacity. So as Ron says, put it on a tender when not riding it. Or fix it one way or the other, as SnowBelt said.

That is what I was thinking!

WTB: 2018 RT Left side Air Duct

Actually the 2012 shows the same part #. It is $89.99, have a dealer order it for you and you do not pay shipping, at least that is what I have found on shipping. They are also quicker than the non BRP parts houses.

2021 RT left blinker only working hit and miss - does the left handlebar module need replacing?

If it is a know issue, file a complaint on NTSB site. It is a safety issue, maybe BRP will have to step up and take care of the issue if enough complaints are filed.

2021 RT left blinker only working hit and miss - does the left handlebar module need replacing?

 Still could be the plug connection at the bottom of the steering column or another wiring issue vs the switch itself.

My F3S tire is showing wear after only 2000 miles.

NO, three different trikes. Should last 30K+. My Champagne Spyder got an RT43 April 2021 (installed at a dealer, not to be named) and still looked almost new in Sept 2025 when I sold it with around 15K on the tire. My Asphalt Grey Spyders and the in-laws Spyder all got RT45s. Those are the...

2021 RT left blinker only working hit and miss - does the left handlebar module need replacing?

Does it come on without issue with 4 way flashers? If no, then it most likely is not the left blinker switch and something in the wiring. If yes then maybe it is the left hand blinker switch.

My F3S tire is showing wear after only 2000 miles.

Put a General Altimax RT45 215/60R15 and don't look back. There are YouTubes on DIY wheel removal and replacement. At most tire shops that hold the wheel on the machine on the bottom inside of the rim, you can just leave the brake rotor on the wheel. I bought the tools and have done three now.

How do I get to the battery on a 2019 RT Ltd??

Order these and replace the two screws with two of them, and give the other two to a friend. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CMT6X9ND?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1

What kind of navigation do you use on your Canyon, especially when you are out of cell phone service.

You can easily create routes on a desk top computer and send the route to ones cell phone. I do that all the time, for both my truck and my Spyders. I also have a Gamin XT on the trikes and the truck has Fords navigation feature. Also Google Maps on the cell phone allows you to load off line...

Malfunction of the stock direction indicator lights blinking fast - any ideas/fixes?

Most modern vehicles are designed to hyper flash when a bulb burns out. That is why when installing LED turn signal bulbs in the Spyders, they hyper flash unless the LED bulb has the built in resistor or one installs the resistor across the bulb leads.

Totally bonkers 'Miles to empty' on 2020+ Spyder - can it be fixed?

I have only had a low fuel warning about three times across three Spyders and 6 years. Each time the refill indicated I had around 1.5 gals of fuel still in the tank, including the time I was 12-13 miles from the nearest gas station.
