• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spyder just quit running while riding... Is this an isolated incident?

I had my engine stall out on me once at an exit stop. I may have been pushing the RPMs on the highway just before the exit. Has not done it since. SMH.

    Riding Spyder on gravel roads???

On a recent ride, I was misled by my GPS onto an unpaved road with lots of loose debris and stones. I just slowed down and took it easy. I followed the road till I realized it was a dead-end/loop turnaround. Not the best leg of my trip/ride. I was surprised that I didn't end up with a flat tire.

Looking for Navigation options besides ACP - What do you recommend?

I use my iPhone exclusively for this. Scenic app for route planning and GPS logging and pretty much stick with Waze for navigation. I like Waze's ability to warn of potential hazards on the path traveled.

Rear tire options - any suggestions?

I have installed the General Altimax RT45 225/60 R15 (not the stock 225/50 R15) in the rear of the 2014 RT. What I like so much about this particular size is that it fixes the variance between the real (GPS-based) speed and the odometer which was always ~10% off (faster than actual) speed. Now...

Suppliers for cheaper OEM Air compressor for 2014 RT?

I have added a Fobo TPMS valve on mine to keep an eye on the pressure without too much fuss. So far, works well.

What kind of navigation do you use on your Canyon, especially when you are out of cell phone service.

I use a combination of Scenic app, Waze, and Google maps on my iPhone mounted to the center of the handlebar. For Scenic and Google maps, I download the area maps for the unfortunate times when cell service is not available. As far as vibration ruining the phone, I have never experienced this in...

Too hot to ride, or maybe I’m just getting old

I just admit that I have done a few rides with similar attire. Shorts, t-shirt and crocks (with and without socks). it feels liberating with the 100+ heat index and the wind to my face. Ride safe and be safe.

    NE Ohio ride

Took Athena out yesterday for a ride to Spencer OH and then just north of Wooster. Ran across a few Amish families on their horse and buggies. It was a great ride. Ride details: https://scenicapp.space/viewRide.php?rid=hQBNjaff - - - -
