• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is this Ryker Handle Bar Jiggle normal on lousy roads?

It may be worth your time and money to buy the bar from Ron, get rid of the stock one!

The Right Front fender curved Light strip Flickers - is this a wiring issue?

Some people have had problems with the tire chafing the wires under there!

I have a mildly annoying problem while riding - phone won't bluetooth when plugged in to charge - are there any iPhone experts out there who can help?

Spyder Extras has a little unit you may want to take a look at, it called Bluetooth CarPlay activation switch! There is a great video on how it works that may help if you want to use the system. Myself, I am plaining on putting a GPS on!

    My 2014 ST SM5 Project

Make sure that like @Mrmikey said above, the battery is up to snuff and good, you don't want to chase your tail; your Spyder will do some funky stuff if the battery is not up to full capacity.

How do the newer upgrade Kenda tires compare with the old model Kenda tires?

It's truly not that hard, like Ray said, do some homework and if your shop has the tools to break it down, you're in!! ;) You have the knowledge; it's just nuts and bolts.

How do the newer upgrade Kenda tires compare with the old model Kenda tires?

Do you do any of your own wrenching? There are shops that will break down and mount tires! Myself, I found a privately owned bike shop that has the tools to do it, and as far as the front tires I just take them to the local tire shop that I do my car tire with!

HowTo: Install a BajaRon Swaybar on a 2013+ Spyder ST/RS/RSS

No, the bushings are different sizes, the Bajarons have a larger hole. As far as being able to pull one, it may be tight but maybe you can work it out there. Taking the bar out would not really be that big a deal. What's up with what you got going on, is it making noise?

    2018 RTL floorboard removal

I would run it up on some car ramps in reverse, or jack it up and throw them under the tire backwards so you have a good shot under there. Once off the ground get under there it's pretty much self-expletory from there, p.s they put those bolts on with that yellow lock-tite so hang on! 🙃 Good luck

How do the newer upgrade Kenda tires compare with the old model Kenda tires?

Unless your alignment is all hosed up, your fronts will wear pretty good right out of the box, until the sides start to cup, then it's time to go with a good car tire. The rear, stock tire; that is soft in the side wall and if you can get 9000-12 miles out of it you're doing well, some are...

Malfunction of the stock direction indicator lights blinking fast - any ideas/fixes?

Seems like I've heard of guy's having problems with aftermarket bulbs before and the solution was to flip the bulbs 180 degrees in the plug, but you would have to check the polarity of each bulb and plug and put them in the same. I would think that where the bike has been changed over to...

Would it be easier to remove the pipe than fight the tightness?

    Riding Spyder on gravel roads???

Ya, I think they call that chip seal. It's nasty stuff, we see that in Maine from time to time. You have to run it very slow, as it flips up and makes a mess! :(

Any tips on removing/installing an oxygen sensor?

Penetrating oil, a good wrench, and a prayer may help! And maybe a little heat if it's being a bear! Good Luck!!

I'm looking for an illustration showing the critical dimensions of the 2023 RT

You're lucky it hit on framing, mine missed all of the cross members, so I use fender washers, nuts, bolts, and lock washers. The deck is thick enough that it's not going anywhere! After coming back from Tenn with it, I got into an almost fender bender with a pile of cars and trucks, it was a 2...

I'm looking for an illustration showing the critical dimensions of the 2023 RT

I drove my bike onto the trailer; centered it up, side to side; then put my chocks under the wheels and marked out the hole locations; backed the bike up; drilled my holes; bolted the chocks down; and washed my hands!

Anyone used this Lift for Spyder Storage? Any feedback on it?

It would definitely have to be anchored to something substantial top and bottom! I would love to see a side view to see what those vertical poles are made of. I just looked them up, the outfit is out of Canada, they don't really give to a good view of the lift from the side, but they say it...
