• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

With some advance notice we could. We are located in Daytona area so not to bad a drive across SR40 or 44. Our weekends are often preplanned with softball games for granddaughter. LOL

Anyone with a new iPhone have a problem using Sygic maps on BRP Connect?

Great! I have a '19 F3L and just switched from android to iPhone. Like learning this hasn't been enough of a struggle. It was bad enough trying to get my Sena to connect.

Is this a Major Electrical Short??? Any suggestions?

Personally I hate battery tenders. Most times they give you a false sense your battery will last longer. Your better off putting a switch or disconnecting the battery for long storage, then before riding season put it on a low amp charge before riding season or use your tender to top it off. The...

    Trip, Maine to Yellowstone

Keep an eye on your ramp along the way for bends. Guys around here use those kind of trailers and I see the ramps "bow" a lot. But they drive up and down them with riding mowers probably 6 or 8 times a day also. So just be mindful. Sounds like a nice trip. Take your time and enjoy.

Got an Over heating warning at idle, went away riding - any ideas what could be wrong?

Depending on how "low" the coolant was I could also agree on air bubble. If it doesn't do it again on kind of a regular basis you're probably good to go. If it comes back regular like, look to a sensor probably.

2019 RT Limited with Radio and Bluetooth issues - it works, then starts skipping! Any ideas?

I do not know for sure. But I was going to say when it skips like you describe, sounds like a signal issue.

I have been using the Meguiar's plastic polish. Works well.

I'd like to add lights to my 2009 Spyder, any kits for the front?

You looking underbody or adding some driving lights to the suspension? Many options depending on what your looking for. Are you looking at adding lights "in the body" or "add on" like...

One year on the oil & filters, but only 900 miles - is it OK to change just the oil?

My thought almost goes to I would change the filter before worrying about the oil. As the filter traps the dirt. The other thing that comes to mind is way back when car oil changes were recommended at 3500 miles, change oil then filter every other. A tech I worked with asked the customer "would...

Anti-Theft Locking License Plate Fasteners, which are best?

If they are making off with the entire plate, I like the rivet idea. If the "bracket" happens to be plastic, shoot the rivet thru a washer on the backside so they cant just snap it off. The cross cut of the sticker is a good idea too if they just lift the stickers. Shoot, here in Fla they just...

My 2011 RSS is Running Rich, but I can't open the older threads on this!? Any ideas?

Are the O2 sensors still operational? If disconnected, most ECU's will throw too rich conditions to make sure the engine won't burn itself up.

NO Canyon Demo's at Daytona Bike Week - VERY Disappointed In BRP!

Last year, before we bought our Spyder, I went by their spot. I also was surprised they did not have any Demo bikes. A young fellow said the same thing about their Demo tours. A couple of weeks later, a dealer in Jacksonville had one, so we went there.

Anyone going to DAYTONA Bike Week this year - 2025?

Which day?? Pass that Racetrac gas station every day. As a point, at the Loves on the other side, 95 fuel was about .25 a gallon cheaper. Dunno why, but it is.

    What are you listening to?

Kenny Wayne Shepard, SRV, Allman Bros, Skynard, Black Berry Smoke, 50s 60s, Clapton. Have Sirrius on the bike that is the portable deal so I can swap vehicles with it. Shoot I even like some of the big band swing music. Alley Venable is another one I have been watching on you tube.

Anyone going to DAYTONA Bike Week this year - 2025?

Yup, every day. I work in Ormond. Have to pass Broken Spoke and a bunch of those biker bars to get to work. But I am planning on going down for pleasure, maybe Sat, to Speedway.

CAUTION - RTL Brake calliper bolts are recommended One Time Use only!

There are probably more on the bike than we would like to think. Auto manufactures have been using them for long time. Most caliper bolts are torque to yield. Head bolts, sometimes suspension bolts, depending on how they are used. That being said, I have reused the TTY bolts several times. Bad...

How many States require a Motorcycle Endorsement for Spyders?

Wow! Someone else who has been riding that long on a Fla license. I was stationed in Ok, and when I came home on leave to renew one year, they told me I had to have an MC endorsement. I showed them my base certification card and was in.
