• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Where do I go from stock

I have to agree with akspyderman, try it stock so you have a base line and then decide what you want to change. I have a 2015 RT, am a senior, but do tend to ride on the aggressive side. I'm happy with the stock shocks, but was really happy with the BajaRon sway bar addition. It reduces being...

Riding a Spyder and a Harley Trike

I'm surprised, out of all the chatter about going around a curve or corner, not one mention of a standard trikes tendency to lift the inside wheel, and causing a roll over. Just like a child's trike, motor trikes in a standard configuration are unstable and unbalanced. A tadpole trike, two...

My newest farkle and maybe the last

Well Bob, there are a couple of things I still don't have, a trailer, the wheel balancer I mentioned, but not much really. I think I'd like and F3, but as long as my wife is my riding partner I won't get rid of the RT. For my money, it is the best trike for riding two up. So now all I need to...

My newest farkle and maybe the last

Well, it has taken a while, but I think I've run out of things I've wanted to add to my RT, but, I have to say the wheel balancers that Lamonster Garage has look interestin. I hope this video works: \ David

Mounting GPS at eye level on RT?

Hay Pete, I tried to send these in a message but had no luck. Doc Riverside did most of the work on this, and I feel fortunate that he let me help. This position makes for easy viewing without blocking any of the road. It wasn't hard to do, just time consuming and required opening up the...

Location of the brake pedal on the RT

A friend of mine made an extension to move his brake pedal forward and to the right a bit, so he wouldn't have to move his foot so far when he is riding on the highway pegs. When I first got my Spyder, I felt the brake pedal was mis-positioned but, now that I've put some miles on it I think it...

Mounting GPS at eye level on RT?

Let me try this again. I just moved the GPS from the handlebar to the top of the console, because I didn't want to purchase a mount for the triaxis bars. So I used a RAM mount to put the GPS right above the 'safety card'. It wasn't that hard, but it was time consuming as the wiring harness...

    Advice on cleaning

Down here in Florida we have the wonderful 'love bugs' which are very toxic to the paint. I had a friend of mine educate me to the dryer sheet idea, and it is the best thing I've run across for getting rid of bugs, they just seem to melt away, with no rubbing. David

Easy Rider. you might get a faster answer, without the flack, if you sent a message to Lamont, since he is the one in charge. I've only been a member here a little over a year now, and this is the first time this subject has come up. Maybe you are the only one who finds this important. David

    Questions Regarding Rear Suspestion System

Actually, the five positions setable but the firmness switch only sets the system within the limits set by the BUDDS. When I first got my RTL I was putting air in my air bag every time I went for a ride. Thru trial and error, I decided that I liked 60 pounds in the air bag and would set it as...
