• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Am I alone? Why are there so few ride reports?!?

Ever wonder what a baseball looks like after 29,000 coats of paint? My wife and I took a ride into NE Indiana last weekend, but before we left she checked one of her favorite websites to find somewhere unique to visit. There she found the story of Michael Carmichael, who began applying coats...

Is the ST2 Flashing Brake Light System Plug'n'play on 2020+ RT?

Prior to installing the ST2 equipment, I had installed the Show Chrome Form Fusion Trunk Light kit with the Plug & Play wiring harness. All of the wiring work that was done for the ST2 was made to that harness. I did not have to cut any BRP wiring. I don't know if this harness can be purchased...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Installed the upper and lower KOTT grills, the ST2 Brake module, and the ST2 Brake Flasher module. Then the wife and I rode for about 4 hours, with a dinner break added in.

Just finished installing my new Spyderpops KOTT Grille.

Because of the impending Cicada-geddon that's about to be unleashed by Mother Nature, I decided to get a set of the KOTT grills installed before the radiators get embedded with the nasty buggers. I know they won't keep everything out, but they'll certainly help. I purchased the upper set of...

Is the ST2 Flashing Brake Light System Plug'n'play on 2020+ RT?

I installed the ST2 Brake and Brake Flasher modules today. When I get some time I'll post some pictures and commentary.

'22 RT starting slowly after sitting on tender - replacement Battery?

The dealer replaced the starter assembly and I picked up our Spyder today. I noticed that the RO listed 2 quarts of oil, so I called back and asked about that. They reported that some oil loss is inherent when the starter is removed. So to be on the safe side, I cranked it back up and let it...

    Eclipse Reports - April 2024

We were fortunate to be in the Totality Zone here. I elected to work from home today, and around 1:45 I set up some comfy chairs and a blue tooth speaker in the back yard, then we went out around 2:00 Eastern, tuned in a station on Pandora and enjoyed an absolutely beautiful afternoon as we...

'22 RT starting slowly after sitting on tender - replacement Battery?

After I took the voltage readings that Peter suggested, I decided to purchase the lithium battery pack that's sold by Lamonster, if for no other reason than to rule out a 2nd weak battery. It was delivered quickly, I charged it up overnight then installed it and got the exact same results. I...

Spyderlovers - Facebook - Or Both?

1- This Spyderlovers forum I've been a member here for less than a year. I enjoy absorbing information from those who are in the know, and IMHO there is far less opinion and much more experience based fact in here than anywhere else. :ohyea:

'22 RT starting slowly after sitting on tender - replacement Battery?

Yesterday afternoon I was able to take 3 of the suggested readings. 1. after they've sat for some hours off the maintainer doing nothing; 12.93V 2. then shortly after you first turn the ignition on; 12.45V 3. then when you're actually trying to start/physically cranking the engine; the engine...

'22 RT starting slowly after sitting on tender - replacement Battery?

Good morning, and thanks for the quick responses. I forgot to mention in my original post last night (it was late, I was tired, I know...excuses, excuses) that I did take the original (Haijiu) battery up to the local parts store and had them test it, and it tested good. I also left this battery...

'22 RT starting slowly after sitting on tender - replacement Battery?

I'm experiencing something similar to the original post, with some noteworthy differences. 23 RT S2S, purchased in Oct 2023. Drove it about 250 miles before winterizing. Kept it on the Optimate Maintainer through winter. My buddy and I installed four front end light kits in Dec. We used the...

Harbor Freight 63397 motorcycle lift - high enough for sway bar install?

Hey Troop, Google "Epley Maneuver". It has helped me.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

I'm very interested in both of these options. How do you like the look of the bumper? Can you feel a difference in the ride with the new sway bar?

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Last weekend I removed the cover from the Spyder and moved the bike over into a good working space to R&R the front tires. I needed to reposition some wiring connectors that I'd left exposed a few months ago when I installed the fender light kits. I was hoping that I'd be able to do this by...

50 year old video camera on moon still works

I remember asking about this when I was in grammar school. How can a flag wave like that in the pictures if there isn't any wind on the moon. My teacher answered...you're not seeing the flag wave. What you see is the flag being propped up with rods to hold it open. And after looking closer it's...
