• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Changed brake pads. Now my parking brake is flashing exclamation!

Hey, I've done simular stuff at times.

Changed brake pads. Now my parking brake is flashing exclamation!

Unless I'm missing something, it's supposed to flash when the parking brake is on. My 2013 has always done this.

Any idea why my Rear Shock Bolt bends in the middle?

    Thanks for more ideas/info ;)

Any idea why my Rear Shock Bolt bends in the middle?

Yes, it bottoms out. I have put a zip tie around the shaft and shoved it up against the bottom of the shock and it ends up being shoved down onto the rubber stop. I have it dis-assembled, the spring is off as in the picture, and I cannot push the piston in by hand. There is 2 3/4 inches of...

Any idea why my Rear Shock Bolt bends in the middle?

Thanks CrazyCooter So should I crank up the damping beyond the 45 clicks that it is set at from the max setting?

Any idea why my Rear Shock Bolt bends in the middle?

Thanks CrazyCooter, for all the info. Yes Marcus put two sleeves in the kit, so there is not a one piece solid sleeve like stock. Here is the reply back from Eibach. Unfortunately we are unable to specify a spring rate as we have no data on your Can Am, but the spring you have is a 500 lb/in...

Any idea why my Rear Shock Bolt bends in the middle?

I sent an e-mail to their Tech support, so

Any idea why my Rear Shock Bolt bends in the middle?

Thanks Again Ron, I think the shock is fine. I have removed the spring, and the shock is fully extended and there is no way I can shove it. I'm impressed that there is even a roller bearing assembly on each end of the spring, as shown in the picture. I will grease these back up as I have cleaned...

Any idea why my Rear Shock Bolt bends in the middle?

Thanks Ron. here is what's on the spring, and I see he used Bilstein.

Any idea why my Rear Shock Bolt bends in the middle?

Well, I increased the spring tension by 6 turns, it still bottoms out on very rough surface, as in wash board gravel roads. Marcus's instructions say if you do more than 4 turns you may need a different spring, contact him. Well that is no longer an option. So for now, I am putting back on the...

Any idea why my Rear Shock Bolt bends in the middle?

Thanks so much for the zip tie idea, Ron. I will admit I never tried to adjust the shock just put it on. So will be adjusting it after I do the zip tie check

Any idea why my Rear Shock Bolt bends in the middle?

Thanks for all the inputs. I did not jack on that area as far as I can remember. If jacking on it, then it would be bent up in the center, not down. But hey, maybe jacking on it would straighten that bolt. I need to read the paperwork that Marcus sent with it to see how to adjust the...

Any idea why my Rear Shock Bolt bends in the middle?

Yes a 2013 ST, no air suspension, just a rear shock that went from stock to an M2 Shock - I also have M2's on the front.

Any idea why my Rear Shock Bolt bends in the middle?

Yes we do. But after looking at the parts list, and looking at the hardware on the stock shock, I believe Marcus's hardware of attaching his shock fell short of the stock hardware. His only uses steel spacers on either side of the shock instead of a thick collar (150) that the bolt passes...

Any idea why my Rear Shock Bolt bends in the middle?

This is the second time I have replaced this bolt, any idea why it bends in the middle, maybe M2's shock is to stiff for it? Maybe I need a higher grade bolt than the stock one.

Does a 2025 Sea to Sky have jam nuts on the inner tie-rod ends? Can someone look for me to confirm/deny?

I just checked my 2013 Spyder ST. It has jam nuts on both inner and outer tie rod ends.

I guess I'm just not a Twisties guy!

Yes, If the other person is going faster than you feel comfortable, don't try to keep up, do what feels comfortable to you. ;)

    Got my pin, Thanks Ron.

Rear seat won't unlatch! Any pics of the latch/latch location? Sure would appreciate any help!?!

On my 2013 I zipped tied the latch open. My Spyder is kept garaged, so I see no reason to have my seat locked. ;)
