• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What did you do to/with your Spyder today?

Woke up to 68° this morning, woo hoo , its Spyder Riding time. We got a very nice and comfortable 100 mile ride in before it got up to 77°. Mostly North Alabama and Southern Tennessee back roads. It felt really good to be back in the saddle again after so many HOT and Humid days.

NHTSA Campaign 26V575000 - 2025-2026 Spyder RT, F3, & Canyon freezing cluster fix issued

I down loaded the update while the bike was not running with my small charger hooked up. It down loaded OK but the "Install Update" box was grayed out. I shut the ignition off as the battery terminal voltage was 11.9 and left it on the charger for an hour. Came back and tried the update again...

What did you do to/with your Spyder today?

I have no delusions that ATGATT will save me in every case, but I assure you I will, at the very least, be able to have an open casket funeral. So far I could have ridden almost naked the last 50 years as I have never needed to use the protection it offers.

What did you do to/with your Spyder today?

I have high hopes about getting to ride this week, as the temps will be below 98° for the first time since the heat dome parked over North Alabama several weeks ago. The last time I rode her and filled her with gas was August 6th. The heat sucks when you are an ATGATT kind of guy. Getting ready...

2020 Can-Am Spyder RT Timing chain synchronization - anyone have a pic of the cam/crank alignment marks?

Looking at the third photo I provided they state No1 is on the clutch side of the engine. I did find a better picture for the knock sensor which is also near that hole to lock the crank. Also a picture of the locking pin inserted. Curious on how many miles you have an why you were changing...

2020 Can-Am Spyder RT Timing chain synchronization - anyone have a pic of the cam/crank alignment marks?

From the manual on my 2024. I hope this helps (Note: it says TDC on number 1). - -

Wiring help needed - Trailer turn signal lights reversed! Any ideas?

No I do not have that diagram as it is not in the manual. I do have the entire stock unit in a bag as I built my own for a Bushtech tailer and you will see the green and yellow wires in the Deutsch plug to swap around. They are in pins 4 ( green) & 5 (yellow) on the module side of the...

Wiring help needed - Trailer turn signal lights reversed! Any ideas?

Something got swapped either in the harness manufacturing or the electronic isolator and it really does not matter. The easiest thing to do is to Just correct it at the interface between the trailer connection on the bike and the bikes adapter module. Swap the green and yellow wires. This...

Anyone else watching Star Trek - Strange New Worlds?

They really stretch the entertainment envelope, I enjoy it but I could not watch the episode where a "space trickster" made them act like they were in a soap opera. I draw the line there, but I did enjoy the "Muppets" episode.

Does the Alternator fully charge the battery? My Battery Research & results - anyone else run into this?

Actually the alternator is not there to charge your battery but rather provide for the current demands of the bike's electrical system ( ignition, lighting and other electrical loads ). Any thing left over after covering the loads presented is available to charge the battery. That is why start...

I don't see your "sparkly crown" all I see is a small yellow circle with a Caret.

Anyone else despise the Kill Switch/Cruise Control location?

I just looked at a picture of your controls, the cruise is above the starter button while the Kill is above the cruise. You have to hit the top of the kill switch to kill the engine. You must be wearing very thick gloves if you are hitting the top of the kill switch when going for the cruise...

What did you do to/with your Spyder today?

Man I really miss Neptune's Net. Used to ride down there for lunch when I was stationed at NAS Pt Mugu in the mid 80's.

The Hitch on my RT Limited 2023 is touching the license plate - does yours? Can anyone share pics of their 2020+ hitch?

I cannot compare mine as it is factory but see my clearance to my plate. Maybe your suspension is sagging too much.

Heim joint is still clicking, what should I try next?

I have an Ultra bar as well and have developed a "click" but mine is farther back than the sway bar. I can get it to click on either side as I stand on the bike and rock it side to side. Sounds like some thing just under and inside of the middle of the foot boards. I need to get some one to...

Dead Spyder - any ideas on this?

On the '24 RTL the kill switch is also the starter switch, but sometimes, we forget to step on the brake before we start and after rolling the throttle back.

Looking for Navigation options besides ACP - What do you recommend?

I'll just say Ditto, Garmin XT2. Been running Garmin GPS on bikes for 25 years, the XT2 is the best to date (but the XT3 has lean angle which is of no interest to Spyder riders.)

Totally bonkers 'Miles to empty' on 2020+ Spyder - can it be fixed?

It is kind of funny as we always top off our cars when the tank hits half full, but yet run the Spyder to no bars...

Totally bonkers 'Miles to empty' on 2020+ Spyder - can it be fixed?

Well the best I can determine from the manual is that the pump and pickup sock are INSIDE a plastic container (tub) that is on the bottom of the tank. It appears that there is a slot in the side, above the bottom, for fuel to enter the "tub". This probably prevents bottom sludge and water from...
