• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What's possible for Heat management on an F3-S?

Don't be confused about the search results. Most of the old heat problem threads were related to the older versions of the bike using the old 998 motor and not the 1330 ACE used on all current Spyders. There are some minor complaints about the current editions, but not like before where they...

Shout Out to Mark Lawrence and Calsci

I love my CalSci on my BMW R1200RT, however, be aware they are rather soft and do seem to scratch easily. I'm assuming it's the clear coat used that's soft.

2015 RT OEM Shocks - how long do these things last?

Honestly, the OEM shocks are rather bargain bin models. I would suspect they are significantly degraded by the 50k mile mark or less. It doesn't mean they don't work good enough. A Spyder isn't a moto GP bike, so it doesn't demand top shelf stuff so it's unlikely you'd notice the degradation...

Baja Ron sway bars on the new RT.

I added one onto my 2020 RTL (same as the 2021). I also agree that it's a nice upgrade, but not as dramatic as previous models. The difference is somewhat subtle, but noticeable.

Quality Control on 2020-21 RT's? Owners comments?

I've got a 2020 RTL and have about 11,000 miles on it so far. It has been reliable and drama free (knock wood), as did my previous 2014 RT. That one went over 60k miles before I got a new one just because. My here's my observations/criticisms about the newer design: The body work is not...

Any feedback/comments on Driver Foot Board Risers from users?

I did it. The Lamonster kit was (as usual) well engineered and very well made. The installation was easy and quick. The hardest part is supporting the weight of the floorboards while keeping the holes aligned as you insert the bolts. The difference is rather subtle, but noticeable. However...
