• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

F3 Coolant Tank Not So Hard To Replace - Here's how I replaced mine!

After my wife saw an alert on Facebook about F3 coolant tank explosions I checked hers and, sure enough, the leaking tank seam had left lots of dried, orange coolant on the mounting flange. It’s a 2020 with 39,000 miles. 1. Make sure to have a helper handy to remove the right hand side panel...

F3L Parking Brake locking on - any advice?

After backing out of the garage the parking brake would not release. After checking a thread or two I loosened the adjusters on the cable at the caliper and removed the cable from its bracket. The brake was still partly held on, but at least I could push the bike back into the shed. Today, as...

Now Rykers On The Floor At Nash Powersports in Mesa (Phoenix) AZ

Not that I would recommend Nash. I visited them this morning to see how they compare to RideNow who have just about everything tied up in the area. The three different salespeople who approached me were dismissive, the last one especially so when I innocently said I was waiting for a Rallye...

Ryker Test Rides and What RPM at 60mph?

In Arizona Ride Now (who have most of the dealerships) say there won't be any test or demo ride days. How come people back East are getting to ride them? The most obvious metric for determining how suitable these are at highway speeds is to know the rpm at 60 or 75 mph. Does anyone know rpm @...

How To Properly and Stylishly Mount Mutazu Bags To An F3 or F3S - with pics Mutazu bags, at $299 shipped, represent the best value for money by far. In addition to being stylish, they are quite large, and well built. We also (well, Patti my wife) found some very affordable inner liners that...

Bad Surging On Freeway A Medium And Faster Speeds

My wife uses the 2015 F3-S most of the time and she said she hadn't noticed anything before. Today I found after 15 minutes of riding that it would start to surge badly at 75mph and when we (traffic) slowed to 55mph it was still there. After a 20 minute break it was OK again for 10 minutes...

Elka Rear ShockFaulty Out Of The Box - so I just have to wait, and wait, and wait...

Elka Rear Shock Faulty Out Of The Box - so I waited, and eventually :-) Sometimes things don't work as they should. Ordered an Elka rear shock with hydraulic preload for the F3 over the phone on Wednesday two weeks ago. For some reason it was only sent on the following Monday, after I phoned...

Design Changes In Corbin F3 Seats Could Cause A Problem For Some/Many

Just received and repackaged a Corbin F3 dual seat - at least they offer one remake under the guarantee but that is not really the issue. I didn't think about it when I checked it out online but these are the ergonomic differences compared to the original seat. Corbin seat is: 1) 3" longer in...

    2009 RS versus 2015 F3 Fuel Consumption

Same route, same time, same speeds. Glendale (Phoenix) to Tortilla Flat, Payson, Camp Verde and home again. 300 miles, and Payson where we filled the first time just happened to be the halfway mark as well. Initial speeds were around 60 to 65mph on undulating ground. My wife and I left the...
