• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How to go about Draining the Radiators on 2020 F3S?

I'm searching for radiator flush guidance, it's a '20 F3S, everything I'm seeing (not much) is talking about removing the frunk. I haven't crawled under it yet, but sometime this summer, I want the fluid changed. How should I drain the radiators?

Do you use Color Correct O-rings?

I have tried before to get o-rings and ended up with 'close enough' per the seller. I don't like that. Am I the only one who doesn't like 'close enough'? So I pay the stealership prices.

Rear tire disappointment - OEM Tire worn out already!

I've read many complaints about the stock tires, read a lot of posts when we first joined the family. Its a 21 F3S, concluded 15 psi front and 28 rear would be my goal, 99% solo rider. At 15k miles the middle of the tread is 2/32" and the outer edges are 6/32". Ordered a General Altimax and I...

Wondering what you've all done for Towing mirrors?

21 F3S, pulling a popup trailer I can't see over the trailer. Thinking bar end mirrors may be the way. Wondering what others have done. Clamping the bars doesn't interest me.

Spyder Accessories - is the trailer harness plug&play?

So I bought the trailer hitch with plug&play harness. Video shows simple plug and play, all is well. But the plug I received has an extra orange wire tapped into the harness. Not going to turn the key on till I hear from Pierre. Looks like the powered converter changed brands from what's in the...

BRP driver backrest - anybody else bending bolts?

The bolt that gets pushed sideways is a terrible design! I ended up putting 2 nuts on the bolt and it's working better. Anybody else bending bolts? (Its the adjustment bolt im talking about)

Catch can - what would one for Spyder look like?

I can't find anything newer than 2018 when I do the search engine. I have a catchcan on the Silverado and the roadking, wondering what one might look like for the Spyder?

    Oil change/transmission

I watched a video or 2, can't get my answer yet. Pulled both drain plugs, it's sat all night. So was the plug on the right side transmission? Motor and trans share oil?

1 or 2 oil drain plugs

I have the owners manual out, only mentioned one drain plug, watched several videos, some very painful. But I was under the impression there were 2 drain plugs for the motor. Or does the transmission use motor oil?

What's possible for Heat management on an F3-S?

Warmest day this year, upper 80's, wife said she felt a bit of heat from up front. We don't do much traffic. This is a BRP F3s, so much less tupperware than some models. Was reading the other day about the older models, lawsuit, diverter flap. I got the cat out of my muffler on the HD, not sure...

    21 oil change question

So the wife is on task for supplies for the oil change. She's put 1k mile on it this month. I know it doesn't need changed yet but it can't hurt. The stealerships both say they can order the filter and both said that it is different from the 20 f3s. Im not thinking the O rings need changed every...

21 F3S died while riding - Any Ideas?

Its a 21 f3s, 900 miles on it, 1/2 tank of gas, about 100 miles into a ride, as flat of ground as you can find in Ky, mild acceleration. Wife said it started downshifting, she gave it more throttle and it died. Dash was still working, didn't hit the thumb switch. Motor wouldn't turn over until...

Accurately getting 15 psi into tires

Guages are most accurate when used in the middle of their range. So a 120# tire guage is not what I prefer for the front tires. Wondering what works good for you.

'21 F3 belt tensioner - why is it on top?

So I finally crawled around the f3s. It’s got a tensioner on the top of the belt. If I’m reading correctly this wheel won’t last long? I’m wondering why it’s on the top, seems like the top would be tight when accelerating, in some older HD applications guys will put a skate wheel on the bottom...

    One key or two

Bought the Spyder three weeks ago. While enjoying the long buying process they said “here’s your one and only key” I said thanks and grabbed the owners manual. Owners manual says 2 keys. So we blind sided the service department by letting them know we would be back in three weeks. They didn’t...

    New setup additions?

Headed to the dealership in Lexington this morning, getting a windshield, driver foot pegs moved, handle bars. Is there any other things I should get done? For instance, my 19 road king the dealer can program the fogs to stay on with the headlight hi or lo, also the thumb kill switch can be...

    A/C coil cleaner for radiator?

Just thinking out loud, indoor cleaner I think is less aggressive than the cleaner for the outdoor unit and a gentle spray with a garden hose in the direction the opposite direction the dirt came from should be easy to access.
