• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hello all. 1st let me say that I have scoured the interweb looking for instructions or a video on this so if I missed it I apologize. I purchased a Dual USB/Voltmeter for my 2019 RT Limited. What I am looking for is how/where to tap in to a keyed power source. I have read that there is one...

    Parking brake question.

Hello all. I have a parking brake question. I searched and couldn't find the answer. I moved from a 2008 GS to a 2012 RT LTD. One of the 1st thing I noticed is that it appears you MUST engage the parking brake before you shut down the bike OR you get the very annoying beeping for what seems like...

    Thumbs up to BRP!!!

I currently own a 2012 RT Limited which I bought used last fall. Before that I had 2 - 2008 RS’s so I am not a newbie to the Spyder world. On June 7th I joined a group of 5 friends for a trip down the Mississippi river from Duluth, MN to Memphis, TN. BTW I was the only Spyder. I am pleased to...

    Two Brothers Exhaust installed tonight.

Installed my spanking new Two Brothers exhaust tonight on my RT Limited. I was worried that it would be to loud but it sounds nice and throaty.....just right. The exhaust was well packaged and pretty easy to install... took about an hour total. Thank you Two Brothers!

Replaced my Y gaskets today... were my old ones bad???? Hey you smart folks. I was reading on this forum on how the BRP Y gaskets were not very good so I broke down and bought the Honda equivalents. My bike has 7000 miles on it and I've seen posts that indicate that you should replace them...

Is my power steering even working????

Yes that's probably the dumbest question you've seen on this forum but honestly the only Spyder I've ever ridden is mine so I have no frame of reference. I hear all these stories about the power steering issues and it got me thinking that mine may not even be working at all. I certainly don't...

Calling all you smart folks out there. I have one for you. I have an 08 GS. When I drive the thing by myself the belt is aligned just perfectly. BUT..... When I get my wife or son on the back, the belt drifts out to the edge. Like this: How the heck am I supposed to correct that????? If I...

2 questions from a "relatively new" Spyder owner.

I have 2 questions for you experienced Spyder owners. 1.) When I'm at a stop sign and ready to turn right or left, I give it a good amount of throttle with intentions to REALLY zip around the corner. My Spyder tends to "gurgle/miss" a bit until I straighten out from the corner. I don't know...

600 Mile service. Necessary other than oil change???

Greetings all... I have a question about the 600 mile service. My bike has around 700 miles on it and I just changed the oil myself (per Lamonster instructions...very easy). Anyway I am debating if I need to bring it in to a dealer for the 600 mile service? My dealer here in town gave up...

Just got my Spyder... Now I have questions.

Hello all... I just became a Spyder owner on Sunday!:2thumbs: I've never owned a bike before and since I'm an avid snomobiler (thus the name sledhead) I thought the Spyder would be a good choice. I've only put on 30 miles but man I think I made the right choice. :2excited: I have a couple of...
