• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Any ideas on removing Compression Socks without working so hard?

Recently, I followed my doctor's advice and began wearing compression socks because of severe leg and ankle swelling. The doc prescribed a compression rating of 20-30, told me to get my legs measured for fitting and wear them daily during my waking hours. What a difference! Aside from a...

    Hockey Puck Heel Rest

It took a while, but I figured out how to post pictures, mostly for KosherKid who requested them. This heel rest allows me to swivel my foot to apply the brakes without lifting my whole foot.

    CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE

Before I took delivery of my '14 RTS in February of 2014 I had Bajaron's anti-sway bar installed. This is before Ron was including his Heim links as part of the package. After recent reports of the stock, plastic links breaking I decided to buy his links. Two days ago at 3:42pm I emailed an...

    EOW

This week is Police Memorial Week and a ceremony was held in the county where I live today. As always it was sad and celebratory at the same time. Sad because all of those who died in the line of duty were acknowledged going back to the 18-hundreds to our most recent loss here in 2015...

So, you think Harvey of Spyderpops is good?

Many have praised this man. Well, let me tell you that I agree! Two days ago I ordered a pair of Kott grills and they were in my mailbox today. That's good service. And speaking of good service, today I took advantage of the nice weather and drove 53 miles to F-4 Customs for a new...

    Just Wondering...

While waiting for service to be done on my '14 RTS I noticed that the '16 RTs in the showroom all had short radio antennas. I then asked if a BRP CB radio for 16s would have a short antenna, too. No one, including the Spyder Tech, knew. It would look kind of weird with two different length...

    Can't View Videos

I've lost the ability to view videos that many of you provide. When I click to view I get an all black screen and, "An error occurred. Please try again later." I've not changed anything on my IMac, although I downloaded a system update from Apple recently, BUT as I think about it the problem...

    I Have Proof!

Proof that Spring is rapidly approaching: bug splatters on my Spyder's windshield collected today on a 70-mile ride with the temperature in the 70s. Sure felt good after four months of hibernation.

    Fried Modules

The ryde: 2014 RTS. The problem: trailer wiring power modules. I had BRP's hitch and wiring harness installed, but after pulling my aftermarket trailer one time, the power unit/module "fried" killing all of the trailer's lights. The fuse was still good. Last month my dealer replaced the...

    Why Does It Matter When?

This just doesn't make sense! Last week five of us left for a trip to West Virginia, but the lights on my after-market trailer wouldn't work. They worked when plugged into my car that day and they've worked on my '14 RTs before. We stopped at my dealer who squeezed me in to check it out and...

    Runk Not Latching

If your frunk on a '14 RTS stops latching, the problem may be your ignition switch. Although the earlier problem with some switches didn't affect me, my dealer has ordered a switch for me. The symptoms: when closing the trunk the locking rod won't catch in the locking mechanism thereby...

    One Tire or Two?

My right tire on my '14 RTS is just about shot with only 6100 miles on it. It's cupped and the tread depth ranges from 4/32" down to 2/32" while the left one still looks great. I've not noticed any shimmying and I haven't hit any exceptionally deep potholes since my laser alignment 12 months...

    ROOM FOR SPYDERFEST

At 2:20 pm EDT today, I cancelled my room for Spyderfest at the Best Western Coach House. It was a room with two beds. A change of circumstances is preventing me from attending this year. I don't know if there's a shortage of rooms, but one is now available.
