• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just sold my Harley and have follow up questions - what spec RT; Base, Ltd, Sea to Sky? Used, or new?

Just for the heck of it, check to see if iMotorsports in Chicago has a bike you’d be interested in. They gave me more for my trade-in than I ever expected. Walked me through every step of the online paperwork. Shipping is free, they sent a truck and enclosed trailer to pick up my bike and drop...

    Spyda Olympics

Guy from S Carolina beat me by one measly potato. But he was smooth as silk and deserved to win hands down. I had a great time and met the friendliest bunch of people. Steered clear of the interstates and had a great ride to and from. The Center Hill Lake overlook on TN Hwy 56: Beautiful...

Spyder decisions - any suggestions on what to buy as my first Spyder?

As to riding the twistiest, I’ve found that the more I engage with the bike the better it is. As I was advised here, lean well forward and into the curve, pulling on the inside bar as you scotch against the outside peg. This can be quite a work out on tight roads but I find it to be a blast...

Any Suggestions for new Riding Footwear?

^^ That's a smart idea, thanks. Tourmaster boot covers work well, too. Sarah

Canyon Front Tires Rubbing the Fenders

Okay, a guy on the Canyon Lovers FB group said his F3 has the fenders mounted the same way and he initially had the same problem. He was able to gain more clearance by loosening the mounting bolts on the wheel assembly and repositioning the bracket. I’m in Alabama to watch the Spyder Olympics at...

    A Tale about Lamonster Garage

They are super nice and patient on the phone, too. I want to make a trip out there just to say thanks. Sarah

Any Suggestions for new Riding Footwear?

I’m for lace up hiking or work boots, too. So much easier to walk in, as racoon said. Lots of times we ride to hike so I’m set to go. I’m very much enjoying a pair of Nike Manoas at the moment. Sarah

Thinking of getting a Sena 60 S Evo - anyone have one yet? Like it? Any comments/feedback welcome?

The Neotec 3 seems like a super nice helmet, but put an intolerable squish on my temples. I’m still shopping. My C3 Pro is way past replacement time. Sarah

Canyon Front Tires Rubbing the Fenders

Stock tires at stock pressure of 20 psi. Both front fenders rub when making a turn combined with a bump, such as dropping down into a parking lot or driveway, which fender rubs depends on the circumstances. There's a good portion of the fender hanging in front of the brace, you can twist it...

Thinking of getting a Sena 60 S Evo - anyone have one yet? Like it? Any comments/feedback welcome?

I looked at the Neotec 3, the visor clicks open with just a gentle touch of the button. I believe the Schuberth C5 has the same feature. I think we'd get used to it in no time at all. Sarah

Just sold my Harley and have follow up questions - what spec RT; Base, Ltd, Sea to Sky? Used, or new?

A word about the BEST extended warranty - the vast majority of dealers quote a crazy high price, so do shop around before you make the purchase. Be certain to check with Thomas Palmer at iMotorsports in Illinois and the folks at Sierra Cycles in Arizona. As a matter of fact, I would do that...

Canyon Front Tires Rubbing the Fenders

The mounts seem sturdy as can be, I think it’s the flexible plastic of the fender dipping down. Sarah

Canyon Front Tires Rubbing the Fenders

Thanks Mikey, I was wondering too, but I don’t know. Another couple of pictures I took the other day: To show how the hangers are bolted to the bike: It’s complicated 🤓 😄 Sarah

Canyon Front Tires Rubbing the Fenders

It's a current issue. I heard the right fender hit on my last ride, came straight in and pulled the wheels off, that's the spot I'm pointing to. It will become less of an issue as the tires wear, I suppose. I called CC Powersports in Louisville yesterday and talked with the service manager...

Canyon Front Tires Rubbing the Fenders

Several of us on the Canyon Lovers FB group reported hearing something that sounded like the tire rubbing the front fenders when hitting a bump of some kind while in a turn, such as turning into a driveway or a parking lot. I took my front wheels off to have a look yesterday, and sure enough...

Thinking of switching to a Spyder, any others jumped from their Harley's to Spyders? Any advice welcome...

You can't begin to count the number of us who've found our way from two wheels to Can-Am. You've come to the right place. :) Have you had a chance to sit on the various models? That's the start. (y) Sarah

What psi are you running in your Canyon's Rear Suspension Air Bag?

Thanks again, everybody. Yesterday afternoon I spent some time on the bike and experimented with the pressure, ranging from 5 to 15 psi. It seems to me that the higher pressure sharpens the handling, could that be so, or is it just my imagination? Thanks again for sharing your insights. Sarah
