• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is anyone out there Ryding with a Pacemaker?

I have to wear a Life Vest (defibrillator) for the next 3 months. One of the cautions was to not ride motorcycles. Theory is if it was to accidentally start to operate you would not be able to feel the warning vibrator or hear the warning siren before it activates to stop the cycle. Think I...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

If all else fails ratchet strap the tire forward to keep it from changing as you tighten the axle.

Can you show us how you installed the power cables for your heated gear?

What brand are you using? For an 8 hour use time I might even swap over. If I had just kept reading the answer was already there. Kemimoto

After some Rear axle O-ring information - what's the correct size?

If you can find the right diameter 'O' ring material you can make one. You just need to add a razor knife and a drop of superglue.

Help - new tires and wheel speed sensor errors - Limp Mode with Codes C006C, C003A, C1290, & P2159. Anyone else? Any advice?

While you can pick up some good tips watching Shawn's vids you have to remember that BRP furnishes him a new loaner every year, he works for a Can-Am dealer, and he makes money off his YouTube vids. He's not going to vary too much from the official BRP line.

Help - new tires and wheel speed sensor errors - Limp Mode with Codes C006C, C003A, C1290, & P2159. Anyone else? Any advice?

Your dealer just feed you a long line of BS. An aftermarket brake rotor would have no effect. Probably what happened is when the wheel sensor was removed the shims fell off or were not put back on correctly, causing the sensor to sensor wheel to be distanced incorrectly. Worst case, it would...

Has anyone used a 'Thru the dipstick' 12v Oil extractor on a Spyder?

Due to the configuration of the engine you will be leaving a lot of old oil.

Can anyone tell me what this tray in the RT Trunk is?

That tray is a blessing and a pain. The velcro for the rear does not hold all that well, so you have to have the space below the tray taken up with something. That's were I keep tire repair, small air comp, jump starter, tools, etc. That leaves a bunch of room above the tray for quick access...
