• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    I changed the oil and filter and now can’t get the two chrome security pins on the fairing to line up. I tried adjusting the bent one but it didn’t help? Any ideas?

    Sprocket Final Fix Update from Shawn Smoak

    I had the issue in October, 2022. I broke down going to work. They did a temporary repair. I then received an additional email from brp Dec14, 2022. Called dealer in Surprise, Az. Haven’t heard a word since. I don’t blame the dealer but i regret buying this thing. I am leery to drive it.

    I have a 2015 RT SE6. My sprocket went bad on my way to work. They replaced it, with parts and labor of about $800. I called dealer and they told me “Maybe” after they investigate. Called Canada. They opened a case and are investigating. In other words DON'T HOLD YOUR BREATH!

    March 30, 2022, I had a new battery installed by a Spyder dealer. It has died and Can Am is giving the dealer a hard time. BRP is a joke. It started with the front sprocket going out. I would never own another Can Am Spyder. I have been riding since 1962.

    I have a 2015 RT. Had erratic starting issues. Seems I had a Sulphated battery. I had enough voltage to start, but not high enough voltage to boot up the computers. Replaced the battery and haven't had any more issues, and it also turned over much better!

    I was having issues starting. I had a metal key ring on the key. I replaced with a plastic ring and have have not had any more issues. Possible interference?
