• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

RS/GS Spyder Breakdown-------- Arntufun Style----------- Updated Version

Is there a way I can get access to the videos? Says they are private.

    Only a matter of time

If they were mass produced for cheap, I'd get one in a heartbeat. Probably keep the Spyder, but I bet there'd be times when one would want to take one or the other.

    Another fire -

Hey guys, how can one tell if the vent extension has been put in place? Is there any visual way to tell? I'd like to check mine, and possibly take photos of it just in case this happens to me. That way, BRP would know whether the fix works or not.

    Best exhaust on the market?

I'm looking forward to the results from the BBQ. Worst part for me is I won't be able to go... Listening to youtube videos, I was convinced the twobros was the way to go. Now I'm not so sure. The Yoshi seemed to be the next in line. Here's what initially sold me on the Two Bros...

    Another choice for pipes

Does the HMF have any kind of baffle to quiet it down? I like the Leo Vince because I'm left with a choice of really loud or slightly louder than stock.

Used and new Can Am price?

I must admit, at first I thought the Spyder seemed overpriced, but now that I see 600cc bikes for over 10 grand, I don't think its a bad deal. That said, I made up my mind on price and it took a while to finally get a dealer to agree to it. Better yet, the bike wasn't a demo either. It was...

    Painted Windshield

Lookin good. My buddy had to get his Safety Inspection done on his Triumph Rocket III recently. He has a blacked out windshield that barely comes over the gages. He was told it was illegal, so he had to take it off to pass.

    Great deal on spyder insurance

I ran into the same problem as I was shopping for insurance. Esurance came in at over $2000 for the year! Progressive was about the same as you said. However Nationwide seemed to offer me the best rate. I was about to scrap the whole idea of getting a bike, until I got their quote.

    Spyder/Cycle Questions

The noise just bugs me because I can assure all of you, that you'd hear it easily. Its not hard to hear at all. You can hear it as someone driving it pulls up next to you or drives by. If it was normal, everyone here would know exactly what I'm talking about. Again, I'll just keep driving it...

    Spyder/Cycle Questions

I took it into the dealer yesterday. The mechanic confirmed that the greasy/oily stuff was just a little packing grease from the wheel bearings and said it should be fine. Forgive my lack of tech speak, but he also checked the tension on the belt. He said BRP says 1600 at most, and mine was at...

    Exhaust Recommendations-no 2 Bros

You could try the Leo Vince too. Direct bolt on. While it may not be needed, I plan to get the break-in done before I change the pipe.

    Spyder/Cycle Questions

Yep, I guess howl would describe it a bit better. Also, being new to motorcycling, I was wondering how to properly fill this thing. I seems that when you put the pump nozzle all the way into the tank, it shuts off pretty quick. Is this how you're supposed to fill it, or do you just have the...

    Spyder/Cycle Questions

Hey Guys, my first post. Well, I finally took the plunge and bought my first open air ride. I've never ridden a motorcycle on pavement, so this is the first actual open air riding I've ever done. I finally settled on price and chose a 2009 Red SM5 #0046 still in the crate. A week later I...
