• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Cat delete, is it worth the money

Anything "CAN" be done. It's a matter of how much talent and equipment you have, or how much money you want to spend. ;)

Cat delete, is it worth the money

That would be an awesome engine for the F3S. I'm sure the mounting and drivetrain differences, as well as packaging the turbo and plumbing would be a major challenge though.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

@Yabbadabbadoo, I had the same issue when adjusting belt tension and tracking. It's a bit frustrating, but I finally got it right.

Cat delete, is it worth the money

My bike was custom tuned over multiple runs by Fuel Moto. It's not a canned tune from DynoJet or Monster Fuel Injection. It has made a very noticeable difference in response and power, as well as raising the RPM and top speed limits significantly. It pulls much harder, will easily blow off the...

Cat delete, is it worth the money

I already have the cat delete and a custom tune. I know I could disassemble the engine, port the head and possibly mill it for more compression, as long as the timing chain and piston/valve clearance will allow. Trouble is, I'm not aware of any aftermarket hot cams, or a larger throttle body, or...

Cat delete, is it worth the money

Which SxS model is that? I wish someone would come out with a kit. I have too many other projects going on to develop one from scratch right now. ;)

Cat delete, is it worth the money

Has anyone come out with a turbo kit for the F3S? I'd love to have a significant bump in horsepower, and the 1330 Rotax should be capable of 180+hp, but real performance mods for these seem pretty scarce.

Any recommendations on a Trickle charge set up for a Canyon?

I've been using these on all my vehicle and equipment batteries for decades. I often get 10 years of life from AGM batteries, so they appear to work well. https://www.northerntool.com/products/batteryminder-plus-battery-charger-trickle-charger-desulfator-12-volt-1-amp-model-12117tc-167981

Learning to ride this bike: my progress so far

My first little moment of panic was when I test rode my F3S-SM6. The seller showed me the start sequence and the reverse switch, and I started backing out of his driveway. As I got to the street, I pulled in the clutch and reached for a front brake lever, as I rolled right out into the street...

Is it possible that BRP Corporate records on the Sprocket Recall have not been updated?

That seems really steep, especially with high mileage. I bought my 2015 F3S a year ago for $8k. 9,600 miles.

Any input on the Optimal angle of trailer ramps for loading a Spyder?

All the ramp door trailers I've seen have the spring assist cables as standard. Even an aluminum trailer door such as mine would be quite heavy to lift without that assist.

Any input on the Optimal angle of trailer ramps for loading a Spyder?

I would HIGHLY recommend buying a trailer with a beaver-tail and a drop-down ramp door rather than trying to use separate ramps. The door is a fairly low angle, and if you still have clearance issues a longer extension is easily added. Fumbling around with separate ramps will quickly get old...

Disability Plates - Texas only allows 1 plate per Operator! Is the Law the same in your State? What's Your Opinion?

VA is the same. I can only get the one placard. It's like the disabled aren't supposed to own more than one car. 🤬 I only use the HC spots if there are no other reasonable parking spots, but I am forever getting somewhere and finding my placard is in one of the other vehicles. It's very...

Has anyone heard any rumors about a new 1600 engine for 2027 Spyders?

That wouldn't make any sense. The Rotax ACE 1330 is smooth, reliable and efficient. They could add another 50hp to that motor's output without any real downside, so no need for a new motor.

Does a first service/oil change at 500 miles sound "normal" for a 2024 RTL

You can't see the particles that could damage the engine. The only way to know for sure is an oil analysis.

Anyone out there balance your own Ryker wheels? If so, how?

From the looks of them, they should fit on a standard automotive wheel balancer. For my F3S, I had to turn a smaller cone to fit the small center hole. And I bought a motorcycle wheel adapter for the rear wheel.
