• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Cruise control

It's nice how RS and ST owners are commenting on F3 issues/upgrades. lol I have researched it, and the easiest way for the F3 is to replace the whole right hand housing as they don't have a part number for the cruise control itself.

Discount Tire DOES NOT want your business

HMMM, interesting, I just went to their website (Discounttire.com) and right below where you enter your car/truck info, it has a link where you can search for tires based on their size/brand/winter tires/trailer tires/ATV/UTV tires....seems they do want my business. They have the drop down...

    F3s tires! JUNK!

RideOn is applied by taking all of the air out of the tire, putting the goop into the tire via the valve stem, airing up the tire and then going for a 15-30 minute ride. in that time, the spin of the tire will spread the goop to all parts of the tire, but till it spreads evenly, it will be a...

Custom Dynamics Spyder Smart Triple Play

oh, and the triple play isn't what made the lights bright. I made everything except for my headlights LED, and after $1500, I was done. lol was able to install it all myself which saved a bunch, but I never had a major issue with anything from CD in the 5 years and 55K miles I had the RS.

Custom Dynamics Spyder Smart Triple Play

one other thing I didn't answer. it's all plug and play. CD sends all of it's lights with the same connections the bike has.

Custom Dynamics Spyder Smart Triple Play

An example. but these are LED's sold by Custom Dynamics and without brakes engaged. mind you, when I initially installed them and tried them out at night, I could see the red of the running lights at the top of a 40 foot tree that was about 30 feet behind my bike. :D

    GS vs F3 question

yes, it was the situation where you are waiting for a spot in traffic to open up, you see it...gun it...then when you get up to speed and you get into 6th gear, you realize, "Holy crap, that was like 3 seconds." lol which is why I want to get it to a track/drag strip to find out what it can do...

    GS vs F3 question

I haven't personally timed it, but after calling 911 on sunday to report a brush fire on the side of I-5, I went from a dead stop to highway speed (70-75) easily in under 4 seconds. 2nd and 3rd were the gears I used, then once I was at speed, shifted all the way to 6th (YAY MANUAL!). can't wait...

Custom Dynamics Spyder Smart Triple Play

I used it on my RS, and while initially it is confusing because they don't send any instructions with it, they do have almost all of the wiring tagged though for where each wire leads to. It was a head scratcher till I started plugging things in. lol

    Rear bag for F3

I haven't had one on my F3 yet, but I have had one on my RS. it's an Eddie Bauer duffle bag with a rigid bottom. haven't had any major issues with water getting on my clothes yet, and it's been through some heavy rains. I used 2 3-4 foot bungie cords to strap it down and it never moved an inch...
