• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone installed a Sirius XM radio receiver on their RT? Any hints?

I am on Verizion. There are some places in Wyoming with no cell, but very few. Then I just take a break or use my down loads until back in coverage

    Happy Turkey Day

And although you have had your Thanksgiving already, a Happy Thanksgiving to you all as well. Though the day to day annoyances may prick at us we still have much to be thankful for. Both countries live in unprecedented abundance and tranquillity. Praise the Lord.

Does this cover fit? Conflicting Info

I think if BRP says their cover isn't going to fit, there is a pretty good chance it isn't going to fit. Dowco covers are top quality. I have used them for years and they last for years. Also as to cover fitment there may not be any threads about that.

Learning to ride this bike: my progress so far

Although an antique now, my 2012 Spyder RT owners manual came with a section on learning to ride a Spyder. If they still have a section like that, it has details for a great practice course that you can set up. I have a Church across the street from me, and during the week in the afternoons it...

Can the Passenger Back Rest on a 2025 S2S be moved forward a few inches? Not the whole trunk, just the backrest...

I don't know what your backrest looks like, but if it is like mine, you can remove the torx screws that hold it to the top case, put in a cut to fit piece of 2x4 between the back and the case, get 2 longer screws at a hardware store to secure it all together again, and be good to go. I will...

Anyone installed a Sirius XM radio receiver on their RT? Any hints?

Many phones use satellite reception when they can no longer reach a cell tower. Check with your carrier to see if yours is one. I live and ride in the empty West, but find I am seldom out of reception coverage on my phone based Sirius XM. It is part of the app based Sirius from my truck...

Anyone removed the clutch cover on the Right side of an RT SE5? What else had to come off? Anything fall out?

So here is the end of the end of the clutch cover removal saga. Karl Malone removed it, replaced the shaft and lever, and buttoned it back up, but never replaced any of the fluids I had drained out despite my having given the oil and filters to do so. And of course they had not tested it to see...

What did you do to your Spyder today?

After fixing all the dealer screwups and finally getting it to shift, I went looking for some coolant to replace that new coolant the shop put in. They had put in BRP orange, so I went looking for that at Rocky Mountain ATV and MC. They are not too far from me, over in Payson Ut. They told me...

Blue Skies, dry roads, and 70° - Great Spyder Ride! If this is "global warming", bring it on!

70° Thursday and Friday here in Utah, but no more. Winter starts moving in this afternoon and brings rain and snow tonight. Now that Spyder is up and running, it's time to put it away. I won't bury it too deep, as we always get a January thaw with temps in the 50's and 60's that lasts a couple...

Anyone had any luck using a Non-OEM Trailer for a 2020 RT Limited?

I have two trailers; one, a tent trailer, and the other, a Hannigan Europa I. They both tow very well behind the Spyder and have done so for a few thousand miles.

Disability Plates - Texas only allows 1 plate per Operator! Is the Law the same in your State? What's Your Opinion?

The Utah DMV allowed me to purchase a plate which I did for the Spyder. They also allow me one placard which I use to switch between cars.

Oop's! Look out BRP, Honda has a new 3-wheeler coming out!

I am guessing upwards of $60,000 unless you already have the Goldwing. I wonder how it rides?

There really are no alternatives to the Can Am reverse trikes

The Tilting Motorworks for Harley and Goldwing is gone. The Honda conversion from Mototrike is their design and Honda has and will have nothing to do with it. I believe they also made a 4 wheel conversion also, but I haven't checked their website lately to see if either one is still available...

Oop's! Look out BRP, Honda has a new 3-wheeler coming out!

I really like the design. I don't like calling a 4 wheeler a trike, it's not. If you listen to the end it tells you the price $58,000 to $65,000. Way out of my price range.

    Utah Dealers reprise

I don't understand either, maybe they are getting out of the Spyder business altogether and just keeping the ATV, Watercraft ,and SxS business? And maybe it is just this store, they have several stores in Utah.

    Utah Dealers reprise

Karl Malone will no longer service Spyders as of Jan 1 2026. If they are your dealer get your machine in soon. Izzy is a great service writer and their techs are good too. I don't understand the "no service" as they still seem to want to sell them.

In the end he decided not to pull a trailer. Thanks for your replies.

Anyone removed the clutch cover on the Right side of an RT SE5? What else had to come off? Anything fall out?

So in the end, Karl Malone of Provo said they would work on it for me. It is now ready to be picked up and I will get it today. In all this I have also found that my fuel lines are cracked and need replacing. As one is NLA from Can Am I will have to look at building one. Buying the rest OEM is...
