How are people hooking up their Battery Tender on a 2913 RTS?

If you will do a search in here there is a way to make the plug in the back bag hot all the time. Once you do that you can by a cable to use that either your tender..

Your saying to move the fuse that is in slot 6 to slot 7 and charge through the charger in the rear trunk? If so it won't affect anything else?

I went directly to the battery in the frunk. I used the battery leads and fished the end threw a grommet hole right next to the battery compartment and left it permanently hooked up. Now it is there for next year. I also like the idea of going directly to the battery.

I don't remember what page, but it's there. Once yoou have the fuse panel cover off it takes about one minute to pull the fuse from one slot and put in the next slot.

Did that myself on my 14. Plug become hot all the time. Makes for easy battery charging! :thumbup: Tom :trike:

Take a look at page 59 of your owners manual. At least that's the page in my copy. It works great on both the '13 RTL that I traded and on my '14 RT SE .
