There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.
2021 RT Stuck in second gear - any ideas/fixes?

Can you please fill us in a bit on the How/Why/When/Where this happened? 
Was it at first start-up in the morning; or maybe it still shows 2'nd on the dash after stopping at a set of traffic lights; or did it just jam in 2'nd as you were pelting thru the twisties?? I'd say we need juuust a little bit more context/background to really be of much help.
Ps: It always pays to do some searching first (Search is up towards the top right of the page) and it usually helps a lot if you check the box labelled 'Search titles only' before submitting your search, at least initially (it saves us from being swamped by many threads asking exactly the same thing, like has already happened with 'oil' and 'tires'!!
) So only if you can't find an answer or maybe a recent thread on the subject should you start a new thread, where it's best to briefly ask your question in the title, as that title is the only chance really you get to invite people to come on in, have a read of the expanded version of your problem (see above), and maybe a give you a helpful reply.
But before getting that far, back while you're reading thru any of the threads brought up when you searched first, do check out the 'Similar threads' box below the last post on each page - the threads suggested there are not always specifically helpful (they work of the words in the thread title, not always the 'key' words
), but sometimes, they can point you at just the info you're after! And now that you've started this thread anyway, you should be able to see some suggestions down there already.
