I have a 2024 F3 Limited. Is there a cover plate to cover the space where the rear trunk sits if you remove it?

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have a 2024 Spyder RT Sea2Sky. When I bought my Spyder I received a large flat box that contained several things. The first was the driver's backrest and it's mounting hardware, but the biggest item was the cover that can be used to replace the top case if you remove it.
There's a section in my Spyder RT Operators Guide titled "Removing the Top Storage Compartment". I grabbed a copy of the 2024 Spyder F3 Operators Guide and there is a section with the same title in it. If you bought your Spyder from a dealer did you get a big flat box? If you bought it new and didn't get the box go back to the dealer and ask where the box is.

The F3 SES doesn’t get a panel, and the cover you see in that diagram is the top box cover, not the F3T back cover….
I’m sure you can buy one, but the top on the F3 need additional hardware to be installed, so to put the F3T back cover on, you would have to take that hardware/brackets off every time...

Okay, I see that now. It's the cover for the top case, not the replacement for the case.

I have a 2023 F3 Limited and removed the trunk. I do not know year to year model differences? But with that said, I believe if you shop for the tail piece off a F3 Touring model (F3-T) It should be what you are looking for and fit. You will need to relocate the antenna. Otherwise it's pretty straightforward. Hope this helps?

You would think that Can Am would have one available for it, since they have incorporated a quick removal system for the top case.

For sure the same to be said, that you need to do a parts list to go from an F3T to a Limited top case… (no Kit)

I was told at the dealership for my 2023 F3 LIMITED I would have to buy all kinds of parts and it can be expensive to replace the rear trunk and that its not a simple snap on and off. Of course my trunk is the easy disconnect system anyway. I'd like to know more if it has been done and how hard it was.

I am not a pro, or a can am guru by any means! But here is my .02 cents for what it's worth? I found the actual trunk removal the difficult part. Sure its just has that big sort of cam lock mechanism, but you have to deal with the antenna and the speakers also. Main one would be the antenna, you have to find it a new home once you remove the trunk. I bought a stubby antenna, popped a hole in the the new tailpiece cover and mounted it there. (Quite sure there are plenty of locations) If memory serves me? You need to take part of the inside of the trunk a part to remove the antenna.
As for the tail piece, very straight forward. 3 edge clips on the very rear of the bike, 2 push pin style rivets for the front rim of the piece. Which would sit under the rear passenger seat. So take the seat off, pop in the edge clips, install the cover, and some push pins... done. I pulled these part numbers from a 2023 T-model. From Canampartshouse.com
