• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has anyone used Wild West Honda in Katy, Tx for servicing? If so, how did you feel about their service department and pricing? The price difference between pro power sports in Conroe, Tx and Wild West is considerable!:yikes:

3,000 Miles Service

How much are you being quoted? Just curious, I had my RT-S done this morning here in New Jersey and I paid $278.01.

$225 is base line average. anything WAY above that...
they're making you grab your ankles.

shop around... and make an INFORMED decision. Spyders
are high svc dollar bikes. but you shouldn't have to take
one for the team to have it worked on. and there ARE
some things you CAN do YOURSELF; without risk to your
warranty, wallet or satisfaction.

Had mine done up the road ...

... at the dealer I bought it from in Georgetown at Central Texas Power Sports for $258.16.

Have used both of them. They each have their good and bad points. I prefer Pro Power Sports, have talked to others who like Wild West better. Just depends what you want out of a dealer.

If you want more information on them, pm me.

I bought my RT at Team Mancuso on the gulf freeway and they did my 600 mile service. They seem like good guys to deal with in service.

My GS was serviced at Pro power sports by the previous owner and he advised me not to take it there. I had all of it's service done at Lufkin powersports in Lufkin Tx. Those guys have been awesome and they will get any future service or warrantee work on my RT, if I decide not to do the services myself.
