Have noticed some positive comments on the Aluma MC210. Anyone using one for a late model RTL/STS?
What's the Good/Bad/Ugly?
I've narrowed my trailer search down to the Aluma, H&H 78x12 Aluminum Low Side Utility, and a Formula Traverse 7x12 Enclosed V-Nose.
- H&H is a bit "Heavier-Dutier" than Aluma, but has exposed bi-fold ramp and no rock guard. 12' for tool box/etc space.
- Aluma and H&H are both made in Iowa, and have a good dealer network. Also like supporting local economy.
- Formula is upper-mid level grade with all of the enclosed advantages plus trailer brakes. (Gonna be traversing the Rockies and Cascades this fall). Reputable local dealer.
General Comments on these 3?
FYI - Not interested in open floor, 3 rail, foldable design, or anything that requires additional ramps.
Living in the land of road salt, aluminum has it's advantages, and the steel framed Formula is undercoated (not a perfect solution, but acceptable for my anticipated use.)
Bear Track has been ruled out due to short bi-fold ramp, and minimal local dealer support.
Tow vehicle is 2024 F150 Crew Cab, 3.5 TT, Max Tow Package.
Thanks in advance for any and all comments and ideas!
