• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

another one bites the dust.....

Dealer that is !

My home dealership (although I live 2.5 hours away) have closed their doors. Although I hear someone else is going to reopen soon, it's not sure if they will still be a Can Am rep.

Times are hard. It isn't only Can-Am dealerships going under. It is sad, but it's a sign of the times.

Ron it's so true and i get sick and tired of the government say we are out of it because the stockmarket is up the unemployment rate is down "BULL" just because they say it doesn't make it so.

Well, the stock market is up, but from where....

And the unemployment rate isn't down, they just aren't counting all the unemployed which makes it appear that things are getting better.

Don't get me wrong, things are looking up for some. But overall.... Well, I'm afraid you got it right Roger!

We've also lost several big bike shops.... a Victory dealer and the Yamaha dealer as well as a hog shop. Times are tuff.

Thankfully our CanAm dealer (WaterWorld in Medford) runs a great business and things are going well. Don't know what we'd do without them!

I am sorry to hear that bad news. We are still having tough times on this side of the border too even though Gov't says that tough times are behind us. This Libya crisis is not helping things either. Our fuel prices are at $1.23 a Litre or $4.66 a gallon.

The government says the unemployment rate is down and the economy is getting better. In the last two months 3 houses on my block have went into foreclosure and the people moved out. If this is getting better, I hate to see what it is like to get worse. I think we are being lied to about everything.:gaah:

This goverment talks about getting better reminds of a old story when the USSR was a big deal. The Russian anouncer, about the auto race, the USSR car did not finish first, but it did finish second. The American auto finished next to last. They forgot to say, there were only two cars in the race.

NO!!! They were nice... But... only 30 minutes up the road is Matthews Fun Machines and they have been excellent.

Further up the road is Lake Norman Powersports, and they are good too.

So we are down to only 2 dealers in the greater Charlotte area... That sucks.

Times aren't tough, Reality is setting in' I mean Houses that sold new in my town in 1973/74 for 65/70 thousand Sold at the height of the market for 700/800 thousand. What were people thinking?

Crap. Even though I never went to that dealership, it is another one now gone in SC. Hopefully the rest of them are doing better and will be around for a while.
