• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Any Trailers specific for hauling a Spyder?

I'm wondering if Can Am or anyone makes a trailer that is specific for hauling a Spyder. If there is, and if the cost is not prohibitive, it might be a nice option to have instead of arranging a tow to take the bike to the mechanic or the dealer, or to take with me on a vacation where I do not want to have to ride the entire trip.

So much cheaper to just buy a nice 6x10 or 6x12 aluminum utility trailer. Then you have a nice trailer to use for anything else you might need to haul. I haul two RT's on a 7x14.

Neither of these options is cheap but both have Spyder-specific options.

Ultimate Trailer OHT3 https://www.theultimatetrailers.com/trailers/oht3/ - This trailer is sized for a Spyder or Slingshot and has an option for a Spyder tie-down system. The advantage of this trailer is that the bed lowers to the ground so there is no need to ride up a ramp.

Apogee Adapt-X 600 or 700 https://apogeetrailers.com/folding-trailers/#SPECIFICATIONS - This is an all aluminum utility trailer that folds for storage. One of the options is a Spyder ramp that prevents the nose of the Spyder from hitting the ramp as you drive the Spyder up the ramp and onto the trailer. One of the photos on the website shows a Spyder on the 600 trailer (at least I think it's the 600).

The owner is a Spyder owner as well. He designed the trailer and uses one. I just happened to stop in as I live close by. Very happy with the purchase. He does not stock them. But builds them one at a time when he gets an order. Tom :spyder:

Northrn Tool has excellent aluminum trailers that are competitively priced to tote a Spyder everywhere.. they are NOT specific so can be used for a lot of other purposes. I have one that works great and have toted my Spyder many thousands of miles without any issues..

Stinger has a model specific for a Spyder.
Myself, I purchased a 9.5 X 73" Floe CargoMax. It fit my bill for ease of use, weight and able to store it in my storage unit. I pulled my Spyder from Long Island NY to Deadwood SD in July and had no issues.

I got a good deal on a used Kendon big bike trailer for 2 cruisers. Then I converted it to hold my F3T. It works great, folds up, and is so light that my old suzuki grand vitara doesn't even know it is back there.

Are you able to haul them both facing forward?
Thank you.

When I get ready to trailer up, it will be a enclosed trailer for me!!! Out of site, out of the elements, and you will not have to take it to the car wash when you get where you want to go for a ride!!! Years of hauling a snowmobile around taut me that!!!:lecturef_smilie:
