• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone else having problems with Trip meter reset? Any ideas?

Just recently back from a trip to Colorado on our 23 RTL. I have never been able to reset the trip meter on the bike. With the trip meter set either to the A trip or B trip, when pushing in the knob the trip meter goes away and fails to reset.
I’m thinking it’s a defect but I thought I’d check to see if anyone else has had this problem. So currently all three screens have the same mileage since new. I’ve tried with just the key on and also with the engine running, and no luck either way.
Any ideas?

The Operators Guide for my 2024 contains information on Page 48 for using the Statistics applet, including resetting both Trip A and B statistics.

I reread operating instructions several times. Think I am doing it right but no change.

Chasedog - try pushing the joystick down instead of in.

Okay, the Operators Guide (both printed and electronic versions) is missing a step or steps.

When I have the Statistics applet open, and am displaying Trip A information, in the upper right corner of my display are three dots stacked vertically.
Pressing those dots drops down a window that has the Reset command on it.
And when I press Reset on that drop down window it does Reset that trip information.

I only reset Trip A on my Spyder, but I expect resetting Trip B will be the same.

And I have a 2024 Sea to Sky, which has a bigger display screen, so hopefully something similar shows up on your screen.

When I reset the A or B trip on my 2022 I have to push the joystick down for up to 30 seconds before it resets. Most times it takes under 10 seconds to reset.

instead of pushing the button in you need to push it in a downward direction, this will clear the trip meters.

I'm glad they made it soooooo easy to set things on these machines. Way too many buttons and stuff. I've owned 3 RTL's and still have to really think when resetting.
