• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Anyone familiar with these codes - U0155 & P074D - Any ideas?

U0155 - Loss of communication with cluster.
P074D - Unable to downshift.

2024 RT-L with 5,000 miles.

Shifts up and down, but occasionally struggles to go into reverse. Also, the screen changes when going from R to 1 (it hasn’t done that before). Sometimes the camera screen stays on longer than prior.

I’ve unhooked the battery for a bit. I'm thinking about shutting off the camera to see if that has anything to do with the odd behaviour.

I haven’t tried re-seating the fuses yet, I'll probably try that too.

Thank you

I have the same bike and the Loss of communication cluster code. Have no idea of what it means, so will be interested in what others have to say. Coincidentally, my Statistics screen shows no data.

Same U0155 code on my new 2024 RTL.
When I pointed it out, the dealer looked at it before I took delivery. They said they that the Spyder needed an "update" and even after the update the code remained.
Net: I still have the U0155 code with seemingly no impact.

The U codes can be associated with the cheap Chinese battery, keep an eye on it. The YUASA battery is 350 CCA, the Chinese battery is 300 CCA.

Very interesting - thanks.
The dealer, before I took delivery, changed out the battery, presumably for the same 300 CCA battery.
Will definitely keep an eye out.

P code kind of came out of it after I disconnected and reconnected the battery. I also re-seated the fuses so, who knows if it’ll come back.

But, thank you @Woodaddict for your input. Much appreciated.

Did that clear the U0155 code?

I have the same code on my '24 F3. No issues yet, I just want to clear the code.

It did not clear the U code. It’s still showing. But, everything seems to be running as it should.

The P code must’ve been passive, because that was clearing on its own, twice for sure that I noticed.

Just had U0155 during a ride over the weekend. Passed 700 miles on a 2024 RTL. Apple Carplay was active and the 10.25 Display rebooted while riding after the Navigation froze. Coincidentally, the Navi from the same iPhone froze in my 2023 Honda Ridgline then rebooted the touchscreen on the Ridgline. Could this be a flaky iPhone?

You see, U0155 tends to pop when there's a glitch in the CAN line. I'd re-seat the fuses and the main relay first, then disconnect the battery for a full reset. P074D could just be a symptom, not the cause.
