• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Wife and I took Friday and Tuesday off and rode from Dorr, MI to Bland, VA to visit relatives, and then back home.
We ran all back roads, no highway, except for back back and forth to hotel and put on a little over 1,400 miles total.
The worst mileage we got was 35.6 MPG and the best was 39.8 MPG.
The Spyder NEVER missed a beat, but I didn't expect it to.
It was a nice break in run for the new seat, before we leave for Utah in a couple of weeks. I will say that the 9 hours in the saddle non stop except for fuel was a little uncomfortable towards the end.
Did see a a total of 5 other Spyders on the road during the trip.
I love my Spyder!!:yes::yes::yes::yes:

:congrats: on "Russell's Shake-Down Cruise". :2thumbs:

:nopic: :2thumbs:
No pics on this trip.

With new seat being a little taller than the factory seat, my wife says that the passenger backrest hits her in the wrong spot. Has anyone here raised or re-positioned the passenger backrest?
