• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Bluetooth in Shark Evoline Helmet

Questions

New member
Been looking at the modular helmets and believe I want to go with the Shark Evoline since you can wear it with the chin bar up and back like a 3/4 helmet. Would like to get a Bluetooth in it, so I can get GPS prompts and communicate with other riders when necessary.

I'm not overly excited about the Sharktooth proprietary system, since it doesn't interface with other Bluetooth systems. Would like to go with a Sena system, but am concerned about the
speakers fitting in. Believe they are bigger than the sharktooth speakers.

Was wondering if anybody had done this install.

I have a Shark evoline with Uclear boomless Mike headset. The HBC 200 with the Mike up in the forehead padding.

I have Sena and a Shark Evoline III and they work great together. I'm really really happy with the way they turned out. I enjoy the helmet/intercom better than the spyder.....................ummm, well not better but just as well anyway.

Which version of the Sena did you install?

I bought two 20S, an SM10 and one of Dave's and Finlesse's cables. You got'a have the cable, it's worth twice the price and eliminates half the head aches. It's an easy install and Finless put a step by step video up on spyderlovers to show how it's done. I can also vouch for Dave's great customer service.

Thanks 2Dogs! I did a search by userid Finless and keyword cable with no luck. Can I get a pointer?

Or is this it?

if so, I don't really need it. I have a 2010 RS-S with no entertainment system other than the sweet sound of the pipes...

Here's the closest I could come to right now. Maybe you could message Dave or Finless and they could get you right to it.
