There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Was out at Hell's Kitchen off the Ortega Hwy. and had a chance to see a Boss Hoss for the first time. It had a 572 V8 with full nitrious hookup. Does 0-160 in 8 sec.. The ground shook when it pulled in. Biggest bike I've ever seen. The gas tank was as wide as my coffee table. I really think I would pull a groin trying to straddled the it. Scariest thing this side of my ex's lawyer.. Oh and Hell's Kitchen. That"s another story.

Got to love the Boss :2thumbs:

I did a demo ride a few years back at Daytona. I was surprised at how rideable it was. Certianly not a sport bike, but very rideable. I like them!Rode to main street and did some burn outs. Big fun!

Remember this? :doorag:

I'm the owner of 2 Boss Hoss's, a bike and a trike. The tanks are big, they hold 8.5 gal. I've seen them with bigger motors than that, Mountain Boss Hoss in Pa, puts alum 606 big blocks in them all the time. But I guess that will change as Boss Hoss as stopped making the big block frames. A dealer in Mn has a 672 with over 1000 hp, which has a quarter mile speed of over 210 mph, that he claims is the worlds fastest BH, Marv is also a snowmobile dealer and has a snowmobile with a quarter mile speed of over 190. I just heard today that Califorina Boss Hoss has 3 new unpainted 07 502's, the last year factory equipped big blocks were made. The funny thing is 502's were never legal to sell in CA. So they will have to be sold out of state.

Those bikes are ridiculously cool...not that it matters when you're on that much engine, but what mileage do they get?

My 385hp bike gets about 26mpg. My 450hp trike gets about 20mpg.
They are geared different, the bike turns about 2300 rpm at 80, where the trike turns about 2900 rpm at 80, They are redlined at 6800rpm. Both of mine are small blocks, I understand the big block really suck it down, with about 15 mpg is all you can expect from a bike.

Here is a picture of my bike

The 26mpg isn't too far off from the Spyder...small block is big enough...things must give off a ton of heat as well!

Fun rides though, I'm sure...

The big blocks put out a good deal of heat. Both of mine I have the headers wraped with heat wrap, and run fairly cool, about as hot as my old 05 Road King, and cooler than my 03 Hertiage, with the oil tank between your legs

Thanks! I had just about talked myself out of wanting one of these. Now the flame is rekindled, a nice small block one would make a nice stablemate for the Spyder and 2 Valkyries.

.
How about rear tire mileage? :yikes:

.
You know it wasn't that bad. I got about 10K out of them and I did rolling burnouts all the time. I could get more if I played nice. The good thing was I was buying $65.00 car tires for the rear. I only got about 6K out of the front and had some close calls with the front tire coming apart on me just after doing 120mph+ :yikes:

It was an easy fix though. :joke:

I liked this response:
"Take that crap off that tire and drive it to the cord like the rest of us, sissy"

:D :2thumbs:

Thats not hells kitchen. hells kitchen is down by the lincoln tunnel in Manhattan, nyc. :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack: it has a very bad reputation but they cleaned it up. So those of you who are planning to vacation in nyc don't be affraid just keep your wits about you and have a goodtime..

Maybe they moved to Cal. :yikes:

Lots of noise and lots of tire smoke, but the sad truth is just about any litre sport bike will whoop their butt. Look at some of the other videos on U-tube. All the horse power in the world won't make the bike a winner if the rear tire can't stop spinning due to loss of traction.

But they sure are COOL !
