Bought a hitch, but didn't want a trailer

Decided I didn't want to pull a trailer after buying the hitch so I made me a little extra storage carrying capacity as I did when I had my wing. Can be used with the hitch or without the whole hitch as I have a Show Chrome hitch that allows you to leave the attachment parts on the bike. Total weight without whole hitch but the box and framework- 23 lbs. Under the 40 lb limit on the swing arm. Just use it for heavy jackets and light bulky items misc. and storage for helmets when we hit our destinations. Box is attached to framework with "u bolts" as I didn't want it to be removable. Does bounce a lot as expected, but works great for its intended purpose. safe riding! SORRY, don't know why pictures are not right.

I built much the same hitch rack primarily for bulky jackets, pants and boots.
Really no real weight but take a lot of space to pack. I use a 50 liter drypac ...

Where did you get 50 lb. limit ???? ....... Tongue limit is 40 lbs. so I think they are the same limit !!!!.......................Mike :thumbup:
