• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Brake Pedal?

retread

New member
I did a quick search, came up empty. Does anybody know if there's a longer brake pedal available? I'm having to go almost pigeon-toed to get to mine.
Thanks,

john

Here is a picture of the one they speak of.

According to TriLed.com, the larger brake pedal will NOT fit on the 2013 RT model, due to the new floor boards for that year model. I know this because I called them to order a pair this morning, and he gave me that info. Will work on the 2012 and below models. Ken

John:

I also had a problem getting to the pedal with my size elevens but I found it wasn't so much the width of the pedal but the height. I had to put my toes on it and then it came dangerously (IMO) close to the floorboards.

I had a local machine shop make an aluminum spacer measuring 1-3/4' x 1" x 3/4" deep with two slots drilled in it. I put two longer mounting bolts in place and now the pedal sits high enough for me to access it much better.
