Brembo rear brake caliper

Anybody have the dimensions of the piston diameter and hole size and spread so I can make a tool to compress piston? The kits you get from the auto parts stores do not have one that fits.

You should not have to do anything to the parking brake. The brake will only move as far as needed, so with the new pads it will not have to travel as far as when your pads were worn down.
I did not have to adjust my parking brake after my pad change.

I also used needle nose pliers to turn back the piston - worked great.

I let my piston extend fully by not removing brake cable. My bad. Pulled pads and used needle nosed pliers and pressure for 45 minutes with no progress and a very sore shoulder. Made due with a crude piece made and a clamp. The clamp could exert enough pressure to rotate piston back in. All good now, but I want to make myself a proper tool. And yes, just put your new pads on, pump brakes out before you set parking brake and all is good.

The parking brake is self adjusting. Cycle the parking brake a couple times and it will be adjusted.
