Brought home my Canyon Redrock on a 6x12 UHaul trailer - worked great. This was not the 6x12 UHaul with the ramp, because the rear opening isn’t big enough for the Spider.
I used 4 ft Harbor Freight steel ramps, which worked fine. I used tie down straps to secure the ramps to the trailer during loading. The trailer deck height was about 13 inches, and the Canyon went right up no problems. My spotter said there was 2 to 2.5 inches clearance from the bottom of the Spyder to the trailer bed.
I pulled it forward until we could see the rear of the Toyota Highlander go down a bit with the added trailer tongue weight. The Highlander seemed a little low at the rear, but it towed fine.
I secured the Spider with straps through the wheels - worked great.
Thx, Chris
(My photos are evidently too large to include here. I’ll work on that.)
