• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Any and all input wanted. After Spyderfest I will be heading East then up coast...bucket list has the following for NYCity area: As a Fox News junkie would love to get up close...is that possible....also drive Ms Spyder down the avenue of America ....early am less traffic..
Also visit Ellis Island/Statue Liberty
Any recommendations for place to stay that is safe for Ms Spyder
Other ideas for must sees

Then will head to Nova Scotia...I love history and scenic roads...after NS will head toward Niagra Falls. So looking for all those favorite places...thank you very much. :2thumbs:

Hey Karyl, if you make it to Cincinnati, you have a Master Suite & ryding buddies

to show you around the city, not to mention some of the Great roads along the Ohio river & Historic Rabbit Hash just waiting for you, and we can't forget bunches of lick'ns from the Tedster :yes:

If you go on to Nova Scotia, after visiting NYC, be sure to travel the Cabot Trail on Cape Breton. The prettiest driving roadway in all of eastern Canada. A visit to Halifax and its' waterfront area is also a must do while in Nova Scotia.
I would also highly recommend you take a ride through Upper State New York (Saranac Lake/Lake Placid/Lake George areas) on your way back towards Niagara Falls. Great roads and scenery abound. While in Niagara Falls, a small side trip to Niagara On The Lake is also recommended. And ........make absolutely sure that you book a ride on the Maid of the Mist to truly appreciate a unique up close perspective of the sheer raw beauty and power of the falls. You won't be disappointed.

You'll love NYC, Especially Manhattan, But if you ask any New Yarker, Where is The Avenue of the Americas, Most won't have a clue, A true New Yarker knows it as 6Th. Avenue.:roflblack:

I understand you're the guy that knows everything about New York City just sent you a private message appreciate your help

Between NS and Niagara, at the east end of Lake Ontario, is the Thousand Islands, if you come down the Canadian side, you can cross back into the States via the Thousand Islands Bridge, 2 spans with an island in the middle, and a tower you can see for miles from. A little bit east of there, in Alexandria Bay, NY, there's a castle in the middle of the St Lawrence that you can go through, check Boldt's Castle. The Black River Canal ran south from the Watertown area to the Erie Canal around Rome, and there's a NY State Park there that's a reconstruction of a section of the canal.
Have fun,

john

Passport? I thought Canada was just a suburb of Detroit. :joke:

Anyhow, last time I was there I didn't need a passport. But I think you do now

Will see you at Spyderfest. Will discus your itinerary for your trip thru Maine and into the Maritime Provinces. There are many festivals and get togethers. Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island is made up of mostly Scotsman and Dutch descendants. Nice people. Might be a Maine lobster in it for you as your traveling through Maine.
