• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ceramic Blanket

I'm thinking of buying the ceramic insulation blanket to wrap my exhaust pipe. I'm trying to cut some of the heat on the Spyder to get it ready for summer riding. I saw one on EBay that takes 2372 degrees F. temps. Has any one else done this and it shouldn't cause a fire since it is designed to take that kind of heat i would think. :dontknow: Sorry if this is a re post.

This may not be the same, but my wife's intruder's pipes would get so hot she could not ride it at times. Looked into raps, but ended up bypassing the catalytic converter. For her this did the trick. I have seen here on a thread or two people talking about doing the same thing on their :spyder2:. They did it for a change in sound, but it may also help with your heat problem.
