• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Check Engine Light No Code

I am asking for some assistance from all of you. I was driving in to work this morning and about 25 min into the ride the check engine light came up on the analog display and about 5 second later it started flashing on the digital display. I slowed down, turn the radio off and the Spyder still ran like a champ. When I stopped there was no missing the idle was like normal and the outside temp this morning was only 75 so the heat gauge was not even over half. The dealer is closed today and I can not call until tomorrow so I am looking for any suggestions to maybe troubleshoot this on my own. By the way I have a 2013 RTS, it just had its 13,600 mile check up and I only have 14,500 on it, less than 1500 miles since last service. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

So you are saying that you checked for active codes by pressing the mode, set and turn signal cancel buttons at the same time?

Yep. Codes would help. Had the same thing happen on my wife's 2010 RTS. However, there were no codes. Took it to the dealer, BUDS didn't show anything either. A one time gremlin.

Little checking..!!

you may find it is all well when you head home. Check oil level to start then if the light comes back on check for active codes. If the light does not come back on the possible codes are stored and have to be brought up with buds system at dealer. But if no light reappears just keep an eye on it should be fine...
