• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Cluster

I guess just call me challenged. For the life of me I just can’t figure out how to remove the cover on top of the instrument cluster on my 2008 gs. Looked at the book, did what it said and showed but I just can’t get it off. I know it must be simple. Trying to get cluster out to check connections. Any advice is welcome.

Remove windscreen. Remove safety card cover. Remove safety card. See the two plastic catch pieces? Gently pry up to get cluster free. Once both are released, tilt screen top toward you. Lift out a bit, squeeze connector on the back to remove. Call if you need help. Joe

:agree: I made a tool from a small screwdriver. Bent at close to 90° so you can insert it in the two slots above the cluster but it is better to do as Joe stated above and take advantage to clean up under there...
