• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

CLUTCH SLIPPING

Gordy

RT-S PE#0060
went for about 300 mile ride on Tuesday and turned last corner 4 miles from home and clutch started to slip, got home ok just couldn't accelerate fast.Next morning went out and removed vacumn line from clutch housing, started engine and there was full manifold vacumn.removed clutch solenoid valve and have a new one ordered. What a hell of a thing to get at,on front rite side of engine just above rad and below air box.Manual said to remove air box but found it easier to swing out rad to get at it.

bye the way if you remove the horn fuse it removes electrical fault, that is where solenoid gets its power 20 amp fuse front fuse box.Hope this saves some from a long diagnosis dealer had never had this problem.
