• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Custom Cover

I needed a quickly deployable cover for my Spyder.
One I could pull over when I parked.
One that didn't unnecessarily cover the wheels
And certainly not the exhaust.
So I had one made for me.
It has separate wheel covers when I need them.
And is vented to let out the heat.

I had this made by a outfit called Custom Covers here in town.
They specialize in boat and personal watercraft covers. And whipped this one out for around $250.00.
Any boat cover place that does SeaDoo and the like covers could probably make one for you.
I have been told I am lucky should have cost more.
We have a lot of lakes around here and thus boat accessories places.
These places have all sorts of materials, thicknesses, colors, etc. Most all the fabric is pretty much sun and water proof.

The company should offer them on this web site. Is it UV protective canvas?

Please clarify the specs of the material...

I think that cover looks nice, but it is truly an outdoor cover?...does it vent the moisture or does it accumulate and sit on the bike?

Up to this point, I've been in favor of the BRP cover as they're specifically crafted for indoor or outdoor usage...you do need a different material for both...

Colors to match the bike would be cool though...

The material, which I don't know exactly what its made of, is used in covering and storage of boats. It is 100% ultraviolet radiation proof, water proof and breathable. My cover has two 6"x 6" vents to keep out the heat and condensation. I don't use this for storage, just to protect the Spyder when parked outside work or when camping. It is as much for keeping the prying hands of onlookers off it as for weather protection.
It goes in its own garage when not in use for a while - with a sheet over it.
If you are going to keep yours outside in the weather I'd get the BRP full outdoor cover.

Mike ;)
