Day Twentyfive started in a fog,(literally.) The fog bank was with us for almost 4 hours so the early morning sightseeing was held to a minimum. However, when we got through the fog bank we were almost to Sitka and several tour buses were waiting for us. If you ever get to Sitka make sure you take the tour there is something for everyone; from the quaint town, the Greek Orthodox Church, the totem pole park(actually a national park) etc. The highlight of the tour was walking thru the natl park and watching the salmon swimming up stream and spawning, there were literally hundreds in shallow water right before our eyes and amazing sight. Not only that but we also saw several eagles flying up and down the river again an amazing sight. The guide gave us a history of several totem poles which also very interesting. Then the Ferry's whistle blew and it was back to the ship. Did get some serious reading and relaxing in and yes we again continued our quest for culinary cuisines and continued the theme of eating our way across Alaska alive. Lots of opportunity for photos.
