I am in agreement with Ruralgirl, I had a demo of this the other day. For me anyway, there is a HUGE difference
between having it start when you want it to. Or having time to brush your teeth, tie your shoes and whatever else, before it FINALLY decides you're qualifies to light the fires. It is the SINGLE worst item of my 2014.
Is it the '16 that doesn't make you wait for nanny to boot up before starting the engine? Or the '17. If all else was equal, that'd be a feature that could decide it for me.

I can start my 2015 RTS right up without waiting for nanny as can my buddy with his 2015...........................safe riding!
Hmmm, Saluda says the '16 makes you wait, Empty Pockets says it doesn't ..... 4 MARIE, break the tie! What year was the one that you tried out that didn't make you wait?
I have a 15 RTS-ES6, I have to wait...unless off for a few minutes....I really don't see the big deal, I switch it on put my helmet on, buckle hit the mode button hit the starter. In my opinion I wouldn't start it any sooner anyway ?
