• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Do I really have a heated seat and didn't know it????

Looking under my seat on my Spyder ST Limited 2015, I know I noticed a wiring harness going up into the seat. Could I have a heated seat that is just not wired up? I have no control for such heated seat. I don't know why else the seat would have a wiring harness? Any ideas?

Sorry... Those wires connect to a sensor in the seat, that lets the computer know when a passenger is on board. This allows the system to adjust the front to rear brake-bias.

Well that is certainly unfortunate! I thought I had an additional feature and did not even know it. Thanks for your response.

Bummer...

Has a good reason for being there just not the one you wished for...but you can heat your seat with our vendors...

:D The next time that you have a passenger back there: try hitting the PTT button on the front of the left grip.
It might just operate the passenger eject feature! :roflblack:

I have always believed it to be a passenger charging port! :yikes:

I believe that you have crushed my world, thank you very much.

i have to go to the store and get more foil liner for my helmet now.

There would definitely be on On-Off switch for it on the console...

FYI, The factory heated seat control on a 2015 RTS is located at the passenger area linked to the passenger heated grip power control not on the console. It is not an additional control, it uses the same button.

I believe the heated seat is heated whenever you turn on the heated grips. Same switch. I love my heated seat. Nothing like a warm fanny on a cold day.
