• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Does anyone know the Actual cost of a new RT?

I have looked at the manufacturer's suggested retail price of the Sea to Sky. I'm seeing $36,000 including 10% tax. Today, I watched a video of a guy riding a 2023 top of the line RT and the price he showed was $53,725.00. Really?

What would a similar bike actually cost from a dealership?

here is where I got the price info

He admitted a typo. He paid 32K.

I'm in the US and bought a new 2024 RT Sea to Sky 5 months ago.

The bike was $33,000
Freight and doc fees: $1,925
Tax, Title, and License fees: $3,058

Total: $37,983

There were some additional charges that were optional, that I agreed too.

12 months of extended warranty, so it's covered for 36 months.
36 months of all services tasks, including parts, fluids, labor plus priority scheduling for appointments. Includes tires and wheels.
Those things were an extra $2,500.

And I paid to have the bike delivered to my house from the dealer that's 80 miles away from where I live, which was $300.

So the total cost to me was just over US $40,000, which is about $55,000 Canadian.

Was the $53,725 Canadian dollars?

Are you sure the video was showing that price in USD, or was it Canadian or Aus $$?? :dontknow:

And was he quoting his 'out the door, ride away, no more to pay' price after adding all his chosen options & accessories, as well as the new helmet, comms, jacket, pants, gloves, boots, and the heated gear he splashed out on too??

After all, the Manufacturer's published MSRP is usually JUST the Starting Point for negotiations, and unless it's a 'new old stock' Spyder that they REALLY want to move ASAP, but even then the price you get to pay rarely goes DOWN too much!

You can get a new 23 RTL all day in the US for $23-$25k. I paid $23500 in April for mine. If you want a 24 model, the Limited will run around $29-$31k.

Dealer here in Jonesboro, Arkansas charges no doc fees. The price you see on the website is pretty close to out the door price excluding tax and license.

Bought my 2024 RTL in Boise ID for $33K with no freight or service fees, only $100 for paperwork and Idaho title. Freight, service paperwork are subject to dealer! Some will give you a discount on MSRP of $500; but then stick it to you on the dealer BS. Look at the extended warranty, they took $1000 off mine for an extra 4 years. Shop, it's the end of the year!

Do you just go on the site and request a quote ?

I dealt with a salesman via phone. The technical stuff was discussed with the Finance person via the internet.

Click on the link above it will take you to the bike in question. Write down the stock # etc. The contact us is at the bottom of the page. Sounds like you folks are getting ready. Let us know what transpires.

I went through their inventory and told them I was interested in Spyder X. Everything took off from there. Make sure you tell them you are from Spyderlovers.

Is this legit ??

Just did a deal on a 2023 RTL. That would be their selling price including shipping to you. There will be additional fees and taxes for the real out-the-door price. On mine, they did not actually have it in stock but brought it in from another dealer. Added another week or so for my arrival date. I would deal with them again, but delivery can take a while.
