• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I noticed after my second oil change for our 2012 RT that my exhaust sounded a little louder (which I liked). I thought maybe it was beginning to break in. I also noticed my gas mileage really improved even when towing the trailer.

After the third oil change, I noticed the exhaust sounded wimpy again and my mileage got worse.

When the Spyder is in for service, do the dealers automatically download changes?

If they can download changes that affect my performance, I would prefer a way to find the best tuning (suited for me) and leave it at that until tuning is again needed--my option, not the dealers.

Are there programs or add ons where we can download our own tuning for our Spyders without staying with the company performance standards?

On my Harley, I had a Power Commander where I was able to fine tune the bike to my satisfaction.

You'd have to ask them what they did while the bike was out of your sight.
We can't get anything from BRP that'll tinker with the computer, but there are some aftermarket tuners if you start playing with the intake and exhaust and need to change some settings.

On my 600 miles oil change the dealer mech made updated and felt no difference but smoother shifting on my SE5:yes::yes:
