Dual exhaust pipes anyone ?

Hello all. As I think that the RS would look really neat with an exhaust pipe on either side I am curious to know if any forum members have gone this route and what, if any, problems were encountered. Any input would be appreciated before I embark on the project. Ride safe.

I made an inquiry back in October and at that point it was 1400 Euros to my door plus customs. That converted to $1941.67, but today it's only $1821.49. Not a bad drop in price due to exchange rates so order while it's good.

I have duals (each side ) I had Ken @ Evoluzione in Ca. build them for me... LeoVince carbon fiber cans for a ducati is what i used...looks balanced and sounds excellent , exhaust in stereo :thumbup:... the only thing i can say is to go slow over speed bumps (the pipe scrubs)

Chiming in- I was on the road yesterday, a Buell pulled up beside me, loud pipe. I looked down and saw that his pipe was directly under the bike with the exhaust blowing direct on the rear tire. Seems to me all that added heat on the tire would cause a problem.

That Buell must have been a XB series. I had a XB9 that was the same way, and it did not affect the tire wear too bad. I guess it helped the bike sick to the road in the twisties...:roflblack:. The fan under the seat would come on and roast you...great in winter, horrible in the summer. Sorry, nothing to do with the topic.

I think the dual exhaust look awesome.:thumbup:

Thanks for the inputs chaps and well done to ataDude. Really nice job by the look of it. The Six monkeys system looks really nice too but the euro price is really expensive in ZAR. I will be seeing an exhaust fabricator over the weekend to see what we can come up with. He has done a performance pipe for an RS already and is keen to get involved on this project. I will keep the forum posted.
